Energy efficiency based on modern systems of automation
Organiser: the German Federal Association for Heating, Air Conditioning, Sanitary Systems/Technical Building Systems (BHKS) in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH
8 March 2007                          Hall 9.2, Room Dialog

Begins at 11:00 hrs, participation is free of charge.

Optimisation of the energy efficiency of a building is only possible when considered over the whole lifetime of the building. The conditions for the subsequent construction and operation of an energy efficient technical building system must be put in place already at the planning stage. This is where modern systems of automation play a significant roll. On 8 March 2007 the ‘BHKS’ is organising a symposium on the potential use of building automation systems to increase the energy efficiency of buildings in the ‘planning, construction and operation’ phases. In addition to papers given by distinguished speakers a subsequent panel discussion provides the opportunity to explore the subject in greater depth.

You can obtain further advice on these issues from the ‘BHKS’ information stand in the ‘Galleria’ 0 H01. With respect to the key topic of ‘building automation’ the following members of the ‘BHKS’ organisation will present papers:

Imtech Deutschland GmbH, Dr. Bruno Lüdemann
Subject: The planning of energy efficient technical equipment systems in buildings using simulation tools

INGA Ingenieurgesellschaft für Gebäudeautomation mbH (Engineering Company for Building Automation), Florian Kienast, Dipl.-Ing.
Subject: EIS – energy information systems as an Internet-based solution to consumption data recording and evaluation

Neuefeind GmbH, Joachim Janßen, Dipl.-Ing.
Subject: automation systems for the operation of a wood-chip fired combined heat and power plant

In addition a guest on the ‘BHKS’ stand will be the member company Zent-Frenger Gesellschaft für Gebäudetechnik mbH (Building Technology Company), which will present current developments in the area of geothermal energy systems.
