"Outlook – Integrating Energy" presents architecture with potential
Treating our future responsibly means integrating architecture with energy technologies and with building services engineering. The special exhibition "Outlook" at ISH picks up the network of these themes under its heading "Outlook – Integrating Energy". This event at the trade fair aims to provide a holistic way of looking at energy: aspects such as energy sources, energy savings, power generation, energy efficiency, energy needs and use – these things are typical of what will be presented.

Over an area of some 600 square metres, Outlook will give visual expression to the increasing and necessary inter-relationship between architecture, energy technologies and building services engineering. The special exhibition is intended for all visitors to ISH, particularly architects and planners, and brings together a lot of useful information on the topic of "architecture and energy". Visitors will find information on general principles of energy science right down to individual components used in building services engineering.

Outlook – Integrating Energy

The exhibition is divided into four main parts:

The 'media table'
At the heart of the exhibition there is an interactive 'media table' with information on issues relating to "Energy and The Environment". The 'media table' provides facts on the current state of play in a not-too-serious way. Every visitor who approaches the exhibit, triggers something to happen: groups of little icons come toward the visitors. By touching one of the icons the visitor calls up information. This interaction also influences the lighting atmosphere and contributes to a pulsating, energy-charged ambience.

Information wall
From the wall surrounding the 'media table', visitors can get a consolidated overview of new and upgraded components for building services.

Picture series
An eye-catching feature, and one which provides a frame for the exhibition, is a picture series from top to bottom of the room. The picture series shows a total of 16 illustrative projects by renowned international architects. The projects distinguish themselves through the intelligent and innovative integration of systems engineering and exemplary architecture. Each project is presented with a large-format picture as well as an information pack which, alongside the general data, also contains an energy profile of the building.

Lecture forum
The exhibition content will receive support from the forum of talks and discussions where visitors will be able to deepen their knowledge and find out about the most recent trends and developments. The price of the entrance ticket to ISH includes being able to take part in the speakers' forum.
