“That was a most impressive event for our sector. ISH 2017 presented numerous solutions to meet the challenges of our time. From the point of view of the installation trade: a successful heating revolution and age-appropriate bathroom conversions. As representatives of the biggest national group of visitors, the installation trade, we are delighted with the flood of visitors to our lounge. The aim of our work is always the economic success of our members. And, together with the exhibitors, our association did much for this at ISH 2017!”

“ISH Energy 2017 exceeded our expectations and underpinned its position as the world’s leading trade fair for efficient and renewable energy. The German heating industry once again demonstrated its great innovativeness and presented convincing solutions that will make an important contribution to the success of the energy revolution. This includes not only highly efficient condensing-boiler technology with solar heating but also electric-power based systems, such as heat pumps, as hybrid systems, as well as stationary fuel-cell systems and digital applications.”

“We are extremely pleased with the response to ISH 2017! Not only were there numerous visitors of a very high standard, there was also a very noticeable increase in the number of international visitors, especially from China and Russia. Moreover, the German installation trade was also very well represented at the fair – the activities organised by Messe Frankfurt and the notional sponsors were effective. Visiting ISH must continue to be essential for all bathroom planners and installers. That was certainly the case for our bathroom ambassador, Franziska van Almsick, who thus ensured that ISH was given a prominent place in the media!”

"The ISH was a very successful fair for us, and we had increased numbers of international visitors.

We were able to show customers and visitors how a building can become a perfect place: a pleasant environment where they feel safe and comfortable, and where they can concentrate fully on their core business - all with the aid of products and solutions, as well as digital platforms and analysis tools, that turn large data sets (big data) into smart data.

We are looking forward to coming back again in two years’ time and to seeing the new Hall 12 as well."

"The ISH in Frankfurt went very positively for us in terms of visitor numbers, the atmosphere, and the quality of discussions that we had. With 'Design meets Function' as our slogan, we showed German and international trade visitors who came to our two stands that innovative sanitary technology and elegant design go very much hand in hand. Our new flush-to-floor shower tray, Geberit Setaplano, our new shower toilet, Geberit AquaClean Tuma, and our new complete bathroom series, Keramag Acanto, were particularly well received."

"We had some very good discussions and these are a positive endorsement of our work. Our new products and innovative technological developments met with wide acclaim in the sector. The ISH is one of the most important platforms for Duravit as exhibitors: it’s where we can showcase the entire range of Duravit’s expertise – as seen, for example, in the new Luv designer bathroom series with its Nordic design, and the striking shapes of the Vero Air and DuraSquare ranges, which set high standards of clarity and precision. Not to forget the three new ranges of fittings, numerous technological innovations and logical product extensions. In addition to positive feedback on our new ranges, we received a lot of praise for our stand, which we’d further developed again. Its design this time provided retailers and the trades once more with a wide range of ideas to inspire them in planning their own bathrooms with Duravit products. So, we’re more than happy."

"For a global operator such as TOTO, the ISH provides the ideal platform for showcasing the Group’s capabilities to a public that’s as large and international as it could possibly be. In addition, this fair is particularly important for us as a Japanese company because nearly all the trends in the sanitary industry come out of Europe. If you want to have global success in the long term, you need to have a presence on the European market. That’s what makes the ISH the most important fair for the sanitary industry."

"ISH Energy 2017 has far exceeded our high expectations: we had around 40 percent more visitors than anticipated on our stand. The fair has once again shown itself to be an excellent platform for dialogue with our market partners – heating installers, as well as designers and engineers. The feedback from our customers was positive throughout – the theme of digitalisation was particularly well received and we used our forum to gear the central focus of our fair presentation towards this. We now need to carry the spirit and momentum of the fair over into the market. This will raise the potential of the heating market to achieve successful energy systems transformation."

"All in all, we are very happy with the way things went at the ISH and with the quality of the discussions we had. This year too, the leading trade fair was the ideal platform to showcase for the first time our innovations in heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology to international trade visitors. In addition to the themes of improved efficiency and increased performance, digitalisation was the deciding factor in Frankfurt. We were able to show that our products are ready for the 'Industry 4.0' digital revolution and that they play an important role in terms of 'smart home' applications."

"ISH 2017 has shown again clearly that it’s the most important fair for innovations in our sector, and this further underlines its significance and status as the world’s leading trade fair. Many discussions with customers this year have confirmed for us that the digital transformation in the pump industry has permeated through to product level. It’s also clear that processes and business models are becoming increasingly digitalised, and so they are finding their way into the daily lives of our customers and partners. We came to Frankfurt to meet our objective of also being at the forefront in the digital age. ISH 2017 was the perfect platform to demonstrate this and to present and discuss digital products and solutions in dialogue with our customers. In the coming two years, the digital transformation of products, processes and business models will gather further momentum. I am sure that we will see even more digital and smart solutions at ISH 2019 – not least because this year’s fair has given customers a taste for more!"
