The programme developed by the German bathroom furniture specialist consists of a selection of sleek tall and half-height cabinet elements for wall mounting as well as a vanity unit in four widths - from a small, 60 cm wide washbasin to a 1.20 m wide single or double washbasin. There are well-equipped mirror cabinets and illuminated mirrors to match. As an extra, burgbad has given Fiumo a clever panel system for the tool-free clipping in of shelves for mirrors, fronts and wall shelves. Fiumo is available in five different silk matt finishes: matt white, matt ice blue, soft matt graphite and in the oak cashmere and Tektona cinnamon decors. The fronts can be selected in a single colour or combined in two colours. When developing the siphon, burgbad deliberately focussed on simplification. The burgbad cleanFlow uses the physics of water to optimise the traditional principle of the siphon. After six years of development work in the water laboratory, extensive testing and the presentation of the prototype at ISH 2023, burgbad is now launching the burgbad cleanFlow siphon and the matching burgbad cleanFlow+ closing valve as series products.

Optimised siphon technology

With the burgbad cleanFlow trap, the odour barrier sits much higher than with conventional systems, almost directly under the drain ring of the washbasin. The advantages are obvious: firstly, burgbad cleanFlow ensures clean air in the bathroom; and secondly, it is easily visible from above and can be easily reached and kept clean with a cleaning cloth.

Sustainable solution

burgbad cleanFlow is easy to clean and particularly low in blockages, minimising the use of cleaning agents and aggressive drain cleaners in particular - a very effective long-term contribution by burgbad to environmental protection. An additional effect is the reduction in packaging waste.

burgbad cleanFlow is the perfect tool for realising convenient console washbasin systems. Made of high-quality anthracite-coloured plastic, the colour of the trap matches the interior of the burgbad vanity units. However, thanks to the high-level siphon and the linear pipework, it also cuts a fine figure under open console solutions, where it leaves plenty of room for manoeuvre. It is therefore also ideal for designing minimalist and barrier-free console solutions. The highlight: with the burgbad cleanFlow+, it is now possible for the first time to safely stow countertop washbasins without a tap hole bench and even thin-walled countertop washbasins and special solutions with bowls.

A wide variety of surface variants and decors are available for the front design, including nine real wood veneers and the new and particularly velvety-looking Solid Matt lacquered fronts. Among the 12 shades of the newly defined basic colour palette for lacquered fronts (each available in matt and high gloss) are five new, trendy colour nuances: a sandstone with a pinkish hue, a sand orange reminiscent of terracotta, a light pearl grey and a darker, warm stone grey as well as a deep, classic black. In the melamine and thermoformed fronts, the new classic oak decor and a new velour grey (in matt or soft matt) stand out. In addition, any desired colour from the RAL colour spectrum can be selected for the lacquered fronts for an additional charge.
