Drinking water installation products and components
With a well-established international competence center, dedicated entirely to the testing, inspection, and certification of Drinking Water Installation Products (DWIP), Eurofins offers solid industry insight as well as legislative expertise, thus providing a seamless customer experience to a global base of clients.
With this dedicated business line consolidation, we draw insights from our extensive pool of internal resources consisting of more than 950 Eurofins laboratories worldwide to better serve our clients. This includes utilizing internal capabilities and capacities from our other well-established and recognized Eurofins business lines such as Food Contact Material and Water Analysis testing.
Eurofins has a long well-proven history of testing products and materials in contact with drinking water through many locations and countries such as Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, and Australia. Using our internal network of independent laboratories means that we can provide chemical/hygienic testing (e.g. KTW-BWGL, GDV, DK-Vand, NKB4) as well as functional, hydraulic, mechanical, and acoustic testing (according to EN standards and certification requirements). Looking to future legislation, Eurofins is already offering accredited testing according to the new European Drinking Water Directive (EU-DWD) and when petition opens, we will apply for becoming a Notified Body enabling us to additionally offer inspection, sampling, and issue certificates according to the EU-DWD.
