Power as a valuable by-product of heat

For more than 50 years, Froling has been the leading quality brand for wood and pellets as a source of heating. This biomass specialist is now proud to announce its first solution which provides both heat AND power from wood. The newly-developed Froling CHP fixed bed gasifier is available with an electrical capacity of 46/50/56 kW or thermal capacity of 95/105/115 kW, and has an overall efficiency rating of 85%.

In addition to working to specific requirements with regard to operating safety and optimum efficiency, Froling also constructed the gasifier with simplicity and flexibility in mind. The CHP comes as a pre-commissioned container solution which is ready for installation and use (wood gasification including safety features, exhaust gas line and automatic gas flare). Clearly-defined interfaces and the intelligent system design make the CHP a unique “plug and play” solution. The first devices have been in operation since 2013, and our customers have been delighted with all the stages of the process: from the initial consultation they were given during the planning stage, through the support we provided during the installation and onto the operative stage which they have found to be both efficient and comfortable.

User-friendly, compact, economical and safe:

The new T4e from Froling meets all your needs. This boiler can efficiently burn both wood chips and pellets due to its intelligent fully-automatic system.

With the silicon carbide combustion chamber, the T4e ensures a high level of efficiency (up to 93.7%) with very low emissions. Well-planned use of energy-saving drives ensures extremely low energy consumption.

Thanks to its modular construction and compact dimensions, the Froling T4e is particularly easy to position and install. The entire boiler is fully assembled, electrically wired and tested in the delivery configuration.

Particular attention was paid to energy efficiency, durability and stability during the development of the T4e. The T4e consumes very little electricity during operation, keeping the operating costs down.

Occupying just 0.45 m² of space, the PE1 Pellet boiler sets new standards. The new PE1 Pellet stands out for it's quiet operation and ease of use, combined with low emissions and also very low energy consumption.

The compact solution for the boiler room

A unique design: the new PE1 Pellet is also available with optional DHW tank unit for hot water preparation and a hydraulic unit with heating circuit pumps, heating circuit mixer and DHW tank loading pumps. These two modules can be retrofitted at any time to make the PE1 Pellet the compact all-round solution for the boiler room.
