Check valves protect faucets and installation systems to prevent backflow, backpressure or back siphonage of used water into the pipeline system.

Some Check Valves do even more:

• an integrated flow regulator also controls the flow rate regardless of the prevailing pressure
• an integrated pressure-relief valve can counteract pressure peaks and protects applications from excess pressure, e.g. thermostatic and touchless faucets

High temperature (HT) check valves are especially suitable for use at high water temperatures (up to 127 °C (250 °F)), as found in heating systems, solar thermal systems, certain faucets and industrial processes
