The Thermona electric boiler portfolio is divided into two series based on the technologies used.

Standard

The standard series of electric boilers THERM EL consists of 6 models with different heat outputs. With rated heat outputs ranging from 7.5 kW to 45.0 kW, the individual models are a common source of heat in recreational areas, family homes, as well as in industrial buildings. The design and the technology used allows the electric boilers of this series to be connected to a common system, the so-called cascade boiler room, and thus cover larger heat losses of the building. An intelligent cascade boiler house can comprise up to 32 boiler units (of different outputs).

With touch screen display

THERM electric boilers are characterised by their simple operation. The THERM EL 5, 9 and 14 electric boilers are equipped with a touch screen as standard. This control is very user-friendly. Parameters are displayed in words and can be displayed in several languages. The low minimum output and the possibility of modulation make these boilers suitable for low-energy houses.

PREMIUM Condens

The top-tier series of Thermona boilers, offering maximum efficiency and the latest technology. These boilers stand out with highly modulating performance, low emissions, and top-level fuel savings. They are perfect for demanding customers who seek premium comfort and heating efficiency. With advanced control options and a wide range of outputs, they are suitable not only for buildings with low heat loss, but also for large family homes, apartment buildings or commercial buildings.

OPTIMUM Condens

A mid-range series with improved efficiency and lower operating costs. These boilers feature built-in equithermic regulation, which automatically adjusts the heating water temperature based on outdoor conditions. They also include an energy-saving pump, helping to reduce overall energy consumption. With greater performance variability and better regulation, they are suitable for a wide range of households and small commercial buildings.

CLASSIC Condens

A high-power range of condensing boilers designed for large buildings with significant heating demands. These boilers are available with high outputs (up to 120 kW), making them ideal for schools, factories, and other large commercial or industrial facilities. Equipped with a stainless steel heat exchanger, they ensure long service life and high efficiency. Their robust design and reliable operation make them a solid choice for demanding applications where performance and durability are key.

Photovoltaic heating unit and solar-powered combined DHW storage tank

The assembly consists of the THERM ELF 9/2 heating unit and the THERM OKC 300 NTRR combined DHW storage tank with an additional, specially designed heating element. The connection of these two devices enables a sophisticated use of photovoltaic energy in combination with electricity from the grid for priority water heating, with the possibility of utilizing excess solar energy for heating, while minimizing investment costs. The system operates with direct current (DC) generated by photovoltaic panels, eliminating the need for a solar inverter and avoiding energy losses that occur during DC-to-AC conversion.

Thermona's conventional boiler portfolio includes a wide range of products for the European Union and non-EU markets.

In the EU markets we offer atmospheric boilers with maximum outputs of 14 - 28 kW. All boilers destined for the EU have the option of heating DHW, either by means of a built-in three-way valve, or by flow-through heating via a plate heat exchanger, or in a built-in 55 litre storage tank.

For markets outside the EU we offer not only atmospheric boilers but also boilers with forced flue gas extraction, up to 90 kW. Hybrid heating system using renewable energy sources

A hybrid heating system means a combination of several heating systems. The primary use is made of an outdoor unit of the airTHERM 10 heat pump and an indoor unit. We also offer the indoor unit in the inTHERM 10 version, which has an integrated electric boiler with an output of 9 kW, or in the inTHERM Hybrid version, which includes a control system and the necessary hydraulic connection without an electric boiler. Alternatively, the entire system can be connected to an existing heating system with a gas boiler and can use the advantages of both heating systems.

Economical and environment-friendly technology using renewable energy sources. Can be combined with photovoltaics for maximum savings. Ideal for modern low-energy buildings and for modernizing an existing heating system with a THERM boiler.
