Smart Valve: Electronic Flow Control Valve

The Smart Valve is an exceptionally compact pressure-independent control valve (PICV) that regulates the flow rate in a system to a predefined setpoint volume flow.
In addition to its integrated ultrasonic flow measurement, the Smart Valve also measures temperature and pressure. Using electronically controlled ceramic disc valve technology and the integrated PID controller, it can regulate all measured variables.
This makes the Smart Valve suitable both as a pressure-independent control valve for hydraulic balancing in heating systems or geothermal probes and for regulating drinking water circulation systems.
With additional ultrasonic functions such as glycol detection and gas or air bubble detection, the valve monitors all relevant parameters of the installation.
