GSI, Global System Integration, is an Italian manufacturer of high-efficiency heat pumps, heating and cooling systems based in Ponte di Piave (Treviso).
Global System Integration has been producing and marketing innotative Heat pumps for over a decade, designed to achieve maximum efficiency while also improving the performance of heating systems utilizing exclusively renewable energy sources.
The GSI equipment can provide optimum comfort conditions by intelligently integrating other energy assets like as photovoltaics and energy storage systems in every environment, from small to large rooms, both residential and commercial.
The vision that have always guided GSI work has been an unwavering belief in renewables, constant research and development of new technologies with the uttermost attention to all details. This is the force that propels GSI.
Our product portfolio includes Geothermal, Air-to-Water, and Air-to-Air units up to 200kW.
GSI machines are designed, built, and tested in its headquarter in Italy under its direct control and supervision.
All GSI machines may be fitted with a third heat exchanger - a desuperheater - to provide 100% heat recovery during regular working conditions. Every unit is outfitted with modulating compressors powered by brushless motors and controlled by DC type electronic drivers. This allows the load curve to be linearized as much as possible, resulting in a steady temperature flow to the hydronic circuits.
The proprietary control system may be handled via an internet-based smart interface, which consists of a WebPortal and WebApp. These enable both the end user and technicians to monitor and operate the unit as well as any compatible heating management system.
Our product range includes all of the hydronic and electrical control, regulation, and distribution components needed for low and high temperature winter heating, summer cooling, and residential DHW.
All of our products come with a built-in building management system that can communicate with external energy management systems via Modbus TCP/IP as well as other specific bus systems supported by the GSI platform.
Our heat pumps can monitor local PV production and adjust their working behavior based on an excess of renewable energy available, either locally or from a community energy source.
Our products can be easily integrated into a smart grid, coordinated energy network, VPP, or energy community to provide ancillary services via a management platform.

Our commitment to sustainability:
To provide a future-proof and sustainable energy supply in buildings, electrification in the heating industry must progress. The rapid shift from fossil fuels to renewable energies requires more efficient solutions.
Solar energy generation allows for more independence from the power grid, but to match the electricity demand of the grid and the building itself, the PV system, a non-programmable energy source, must be intelligently networked and managed.
This can be accomplished in part by combining photovoltaics with energy storage devices and smart heating pumps.
Our goal is to pave the road for this transformation by developing smart heat pumps capable of delivering comfort to end users, fully integrated with other renewable assets in the same building, on a smart grid, or even in a smart city.

MEVO R290 Monoblock
With a focus on reducing environmental impact, GSI developed an entire range of very high-efÏciency heat pumps equipped with R290 gas. The result is a silent and environmentally friendly line; in fact, R290 gas is of natural origin with excellent thermodynamic qualities, ideal for heat pumps, with very low GWP value (Acronym for Global Warming potential, i.e., the unit of measurement used to determine the polluting power of a gas, on an annual basis, dispersed into the atmosphere).
MEVO is the supersilent heat pump designed for outdoor installations and sized to ensure efÏcient operation even at very low outdoor temperatures. MEVO offers very high efÏciency and overall energy performance, which is further increased in the PRO version by means
of the economizer technology present on the cooling circuit. The MAGIS version, in addition to the PRO version, is equipped with a 100% heat recovery system on
the compressor’s side made possible through a third heat exchanger sized to the total capacity of the unit. Simple to install, the MEVO monoblock encloses the external evaporator and the hydronic and refrigeration circuits in a single system.
- Thermal power: from 8 to 20 kW with single-phase and three-phase power supply;

TOWER heating & cooling all-in-one system
TOWER heat pumps are integrated systems designed to meet the needs for cooling and heating in residential contexts. This product series was created specifically for installation in narrow spaces. Inside the cabinet the system integrates all of the hydronic and electronic controls, regulation and distribution elements required to provide cooling and heating at low, medium or high temperatures.
The Heat Pump comes with two separate hydronic circuits as standard. On demand, one of the circuits can be outfitted with an electronic mixing valve for accurate temperature output.
TOWER also meets domestic hot water demands in a consistent and legionella-free manner, thanks to a built-in heat exchanger installed on the machine's integrated storage tank.
The TOWER series is available in power outputs ranging from 5kW to 15kW
High-efficiency Full inverter technology & intelligent management
TOWER heat pumps are outfitted with an advanced control system capable of interfacing with a wide range of compatible heating and cooling equipment. All TOWER heat pumps are equipped with full inverter technology. Circulation pumps, valves and compressors are controlled by electronic drivers that constantly adjust their functioning to reduce power consumption and boost efficiency.
A BUS connection allows the system to communicate with other devices. The platform developed by GSI makes it possible to monitor and operate the whole system as well as configure the machine and heating system completely and easily. The heat pump continuously modifies its operating conditions to match the specified set temperature with the least amount of energy usage thanks to an optimized working strategy.
In order to improve efficiency and guarantee the highest level of comfort, the control unit also gathers internal and external parameters. Communication and control by means of third-party management platforms through Modbus is also feasible.
The control manager can pinpoint three different set points according to the user’s needs. The maximum heating output temperature is 55°C and the minimum cooling output temperature is 7°C. An auxiliary heater up to 6kW can be supplied on demand to add power to the heating circuit.
Integration with renewables
A sophisticated SW-HW renewable energy tracking system – AIER – is also available on demand. This technology monitors the power coming from PV systems and adapts the operation of the machine to increase the self-consumption of renewable energy.
The machine control system is ready to actively engage with an aggregated coordination of energy assets. It is also ready to work in combination with SETA, the innovative fully-integrated PV-inverter & ESS energy manager by GSI.
Production of Domestic Hot Water
The production of domestic hot water is constantly guaranteed by a multienergy storage of 250 liters equipped with a right-dimensioned stainless-steel heat exchanger. A second auxiliary coil for connection to supplementary sources such as solar-thermal systems is included. A full kit of solar-thermal circulation pump, an extra sensor, and the logics to manage the system - from the heat pump itself as well as remotely - can be supplied as an option to complete the management of the solar-thermal source.
Full-heat recovery system
TOWER heat pumps can be, if requested, equipped with GSI "MAGIS" technology. This advanced system aims at recovering the entire waste heat generated by the compressor during standard heating and cooling operations. A dedicated circuit collects its high temperature and diverts it towards a specific heat exchanger. The energy is then transmitted to the boiler, to rise further the temperature of stored domestic hot water.
The maximum temperature possible to reach inside the storage tank through the recovery operation is 60/65°C
Future-proof WEB VISOR management and smart interface
The end user is able to monitor and control TOWER from anywhere using a computer or smartphone by means of GSI web server technology in combination with its proprietary app and portal. Access to information and commands made simple and fast thanks to a powerful graphical interface. The control system is ready to interface with third-party control platforms such as Building Manager Systems, Energy Communities, Utility-scale systems and others. It is able to share working and status information, alarms, consumption data and performance reports.
Extremely low noise working
Our engineers paid close attention to this topic during the design process of this range of equipment. The employment of a thick noise-reduction coat put all around the cabinet allows the unit's sound pressure to be significantly cut to 39dB(A). As a result, TOWER machines combine remarkable performance outcomes (high levels of COP and EER) with limited noise.
Air source models
AURA TOWER ASHP is specifically designed for hydronic heating and cooling systems. It is available in a power range from 6 to 15kW in single-phase or three-phase, depending on power and size.
The remote evaporator-condensing unit is available in two different bodies: upright or cube shaped.
Ground source models
AQUA TOWER GSHP is specifically designed for hydronic heating and cooling systems. It is available in a power range from 5 to 14kW in single-phase or three-phase, depending on power and size.
It is suited to be connected to and operate with any geoexchange system, open or closed loop type, both vertical or horizontal.

DUETTO GSHP & ASHP 60-90kW double circuit
DUETTO are medium sized heat pumps designed to meet the needs for cooling and heating in large residential contexts, apartment blocks and commercial or industrial facilities. The integration of two separate machines into one distinguishes DUETTO from other products in the industry. In fact, Its double independent refrigeration circuit guarantees a wider modulation range compared to other single standard solutions. The electrical, hydronic, and refrigeration circuits are kept separate from one another to furtherly increase operational reliability.
The hydronic installation of the heat pump is simplified thanks to a single connection. The pipework connecting the two units is already built into the machine.
The DUETTO series is available in power outputs ranging from 60kW to 90kW. If more power is required, it is possible to connect up to 6 DUETTO machines in parallel and managed by GSI specific control system. A three-phase power supply is required to operate the machines

Robust construction
In industrial workplaces, as well as in large residential buildings, a high level of reliability is required. The DUETTO designers put significant emphasis on the equipment's long-term resilience and endurance.
As a result of this, the DUETTO range has a higher structural resistance, a compact construction and sober design, along with a durable frame and easy access to the components. Removable panels all around the machine allow for straightforward maintenance and extremely simple installation. High-efficiency hermetic scroll compressors mounted on twin internal cushioned supports are standard on all units.
Structure and panels are made of hot-dip galvanized sheet coated RAL 7012 and RAL 2004 trims. This execution ensures corrosion resistance and thus extends its duration. The entire structural part is coated with a thick sound-absorbing material (30mm), which significantly reduces noise transmission.
Air source models
AURA DUETTO ASHP is specifically designed for hydronic heating and cooling systems. It is available in a power range from 60 to 85kW, depending on power and size.

BEETLE industrial air conditioner for big spaces
Beetle is a reversible high efficiency industrial air conditioning unit specifically to accommodate the heating and cooling demands of large rooms, spaces, working areas, and facilities in particular. Its working strategy focuses on maintaining an optimal balance between silence, air quality, temperature, and climate conditions. These units are ideal for industrial buildings that experience sudden temperature variations. Such fluctuations require a prompt and regulated counterbalance in order to keep the environmental conditions as stable as possible.
BEETLE140 is appropriate for areas up to 400sqm as well as power requirements up to 40kW. Larger areas can be covered by installing more units that can be easily synchronized to work together through the customer's Wi-Fi network.
Its simple and efficient WEB interface enables direct monitoring and control of the units from smart devices or PCs both inside the working environment and remotely via the GSI Cloud server.
The GSI Cloud system collects all of the unit's operational parameters, including consumption and produced energy. Technicians and service operators get access to functional reports available to be downloaded also from our portal.
The GSI cloud system also allows for remote technical help on the machines. BEETLE140 operates quietly, with high energy efficiency and is simple to install.
The installation is quick and straightforward, and it may be done in almost the same way as a residential unit. Pipework will only be required to link the external and internal components, as well as to connect both to the power supply.
The machine requires a three-phase power source to operate.
