Beschreibung

Anti-Limescale Ball Valves S40 PRO with Nanoceramic-Coated Ball for drinkink water

The CALIDO S40 PRO series are anti-limescale ball valves designed for installation in drinking water distribution systems, central heating installations (water in heating systems must comply with PN-04607:1993 standards), pneumatic and oil systems (these systems must be free of contaminants that could damage the valves), and cooling systems.

Materials

  • Materials approved for contact with drinking water and glycol solution up to 40%.
  • Materials compliant with the requirements of the 4MS initiative.
  • Body made of DZR brass resistant to dezincification.
  • Ball made of CW617N brass, coated with nanoceramic.
  • External surface finish: sandblasted brass.
  • Ball, gland, and stem seals made of PTFE (Teflon).
  • Lever and lever nut made of stainless steel.

Technical Parameters

  • PN (Nominal Pressure): 40 bar (for liquids).
  • Tmin: -20°C (non-freezing conditions).
  • Tmax: 150°C (for liquids).

Features and Benefits:

  • Nanoceramic-coated ball: Prevents the accumulation of limescale deposits that could disrupt valve operation.
  • Double sealing on the stem:
    • The top of the stem features a traditional passive gland with a nut for additional tightening.
    • The bottom of the stem uses a dynamic seal, where the sealing force increases with rising pressure between the ball and the body, ensuring tightness.
  • Reinforced structure: Increased wall thickness in critical areas and four reinforcing bridges around the body guarantee durability and long service life.
  • Safety-focused design: The stem’s construction and assembly prevent it from being pushed out of the body, ensuring safety.
  • Threading assistance: The lead-in phase for sealing material facilitates the screwing of elements.
  • Durable lever: Equipped with a stainless-steel lever and a plastic overlay, ensuring the lever’s long life.
  • Labeling system: The overlay on the lever features a window and a label, allowing descriptions such as the device for which the valve can shut off the flow.
  • Reversible lever installation: The body and lever design allow the lever to be mounted on either side, simplifying valve installation.

Ball Valves S30 with Dynamic Sealing for drinking water

The CALIDO S30 series consists of manually operated ball valves designed for installation in central heating systems, drinking water distribution systems, and pneumatic and oil systems. These valves combine robust construction with innovative sealing technology to ensure reliable operation and long-lasting durability.

Materials:

  • Approved materials for contact with drinking water and glycol solution up to 40%.
  • Body, ball, and stem made of CW617N brass.
  • External surface finish: nickel-plated.
  • Seals for the ball, gland, and stem made of PTFE (Teflon).
  • Lever and lever nut made of steel, coated with GEOMET anti-corrosion coating (optionally available with an aluminum "butterfly" lever, powder-coated).

Technical Parameters:

  • Nominal Pressure (PN): 30 bar (for liquids).
  • Operating temperature range: Tmin = -20°C (non-freezing conditions), Tmax = 150°C (for liquids).
  • Maximum temperature for semi-union valves: 110°C.

Features and Benefits:

  • Dynamic Stem Sealing:
    • Traditional passive gland at the top of the stem, adjustable with a nut for additional sealing.
    • Modern dynamic seal at the bottom of the stem, where sealing force increases with rising pressure between the ball and the body, ensuring leak-tightness.
  • Reinforced Structure: Increased wall thickness in critical areas and four reinforcing bridges on the body’s perimeter guarantee durability and extended service life.
  • Safety-Oriented Design: The construction and assembly of the stem prevent it from being pushed out of the body, ensuring safety during operation.
  • Threading Assistance: Lead-in phase for sealing material simplifies the screwing of elements during installation.
  • Durable Lever: Steel lever coated with GEOMET anti-corrosion coating, with an optional plastic overlay for enhanced longevity. The "butterfly" lever option is powder-coated for additional durability.
  • Labeling System: The lever overlay features a window and label for easy identification of the valve’s function, such as controlling the flow to specific devices.
  • Reversible Lever Installation: The design of the body and lever allows the lever to be mounted on either side, making installation easier.

Certifications:

  • Product certified by NIZP-PZH (brass components in contact with water are nickel-free).

Ball Valves S30 N with Dynamic Sealing

The CALIDO S30 N series consists of manually operated water ball valves designed for installation in central heating systems, pneumatic systems, and oil systems. These valves ensure reliable operation, durability, and safety through advanced sealing technology.

Features and Benefits:

  • Double Sealing:
    • Internal (ball) and external (stem) sealing is achieved using PTFE seals.
    • For enhanced operational safety, the valve stem is equipped with a dual-sealing system:
      • Traditional passive gland at the top of the stem, with the option to tighten using a nut.
      • Modern dynamic sealing at the bottom of the stem, where the sealing force increases with rising pressure between the ball and the body, ensuring leak-tightness.

Technical Specifications:

  • Operating temperature range (for liquids): From -20°C (non-freezing conditions) to 150°C.
  • Operating pressure (for liquids): Up to 30 bar.
  • Thread standard: Complies with PN-EN-ISO 228/1.
  • Material compatibility: All materials used in valve production are approved for use with glycol solutions up to 40% concentration.

Applications:
The S30 N valves are ideal for central heating systems, as well as pneumatic and oil systems, providing reliable flow control and operational safety across a range of demanding installations.
