ELECTROSTATIC FINE DUST SEPARATOR FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE WOOD COMBUSTION PLANTS

In the Filterbox-S, the exhaust gases from the boiler are first directed and led downwards from the inlet nozzle. They flow through stainless steel pipes in which both electrostatic charging and particle separation take place. The purified exhaust gases then enter the chimney. Depending on the fuel and the condition and operation of the furnace, the separation efficiency is between 80 and 90 percent. The electrodes and separating surfaces are cleaned automatically by means of a vibrating mechanism (dry cleaning). The dust falls into a collecting container during the cleaning process.
