Acoustic enclosure for quiet heat pump operation

Description

The new eSilent acoustic enclosure from ATEC can be adapted to any outdoor heat pump or air conditioning system. Their big plus: they reduce the noise in the sum level by up to 16 dB(A). Just 10 dB(A) means a halving of the sound heard. In addition, the sophisticated design makes installation quick.

In order to use heat pumps even in noise-sensitive environments, the new manufacturer-neutral acoustic enclosures from ATEC can help. They are made to
measure for the heat pumps to be enclosed, optionally also for the cable or pipe penetrations. This makes them suitable for new and existing buildings, for detached houses and apartment buildings, as well as for commercial buildings.

The air openings for supply and exhaust air are also designed specifically for the system. Inside the enclosure there are separating plates - they prevent short circuits between the supply and exhaust air flows. In this way, as without the enclosure, the fans can suck in or blow out unhindered, and the performance of the unit remains unchanged. The maximum pressure loss is specified as less than 25 Pa.

The base frame consists of aluminium profiles that are joined together with special corners. Aluminium doors are used on all sides. They have 40 mm sound insulation on the inside. The doors take up the entire construction height and width. Therefore, they allow quick and unhindered access from all sides for maintenance work.

The elements are water-resistant, free of mineral fibres and resistant to most chemicals, solvents and algae formation. They are also flame retardant and fully recyclable. On request, the sound enclosures can be powder-coated in RAL colours.

New eVENT radiator system for low flow temperatures

The eVENT series from ATEC GmbH & Co. KG from Neu Wulmstorf is an economical alternative, especially for existing radiators. It is ideally suited for heating systems with low flow temperatures and can be used in both renovation and new buildings. In addition, the radiator saves the costly installation of underfloor heating in old buildings. The concept behind eVENT is: optimum heat output through intelligent control. The highlight: the integrated fans provide convection even at low temperatures. Thanks to the booster, this can also be achieved at lightning speed - if desired.

The new eVENT series from ATEC can be installed quickly and easily in all heating systems. Thanks to the low flow temperatures, it can be efficiently combined with heat pumps, for example. The smart control system controls the built-in fans both manually and automatically. The fans run faster the further the room temperature deviates from the setpoint. When the room temperature is
reached, the fans switch off. And if things have to move really fast, the electronic speed control also has an additional booster function. This switches the fan to maximum speed for 120 minutes and then automatically back to control mode.

A total of four different eVENT models guarantee trouble-free installation in renovation projects or new buildings. Whether horizontal or vertical installation - the variable connection combinations and the sophisticated suspension give the radiator a particularly high degree of flexibility. The model variants differ in the number of fans, size and the arrangement of connections, suspensions and the radiator front. Here you will find everything your heart desires, from the classic ribbed design to smooth front surfaces and mirrored design surfaces. In addition, eVENT scores with quiet operation and is eligible for subsidies according to BEG.

Retrofit heat pump

Energy efficiency A+++, integrated buffer storage, simple installation without a cold certificate: the eHEAT air/water heat pump opens up a fast, efficient path to a hybrid heat supply. Space-saving design and quiet operation make it the ideal retrofit device for existing buildings - with financial support according to the BEG.

The first model in ATEC's eHEAT heat pump series delivers up to 12.5 kW of heating output. The monobloc unit for outdoor installation is particularly suitable for integration into existing buildings. If it is combined with an existing gas or oil boiler to form a hybrid system, fuel savings of up to 70 % can be achieved.

With dimensions of 1350/975/350 mm (H/W/D), the eHEAT is extremely compact. The integrated, fully foamed 80-litre buffer storage tank eliminates the need for an external storage tank, as well as much of the pipework. The heat pump has a closed refrigeration circuit and features a high level of installation and functional reliability. The installation can be carried out by the heating engineer without any refrigeration work.

At 35 °C flow temperature, for example in connection with a panel heating system, or in combination with the eVENT low-temperature radiators, the system achieves a SCOP of 4.477. Thanks to two separate fans, it operates at less than 50 dB(A).
It is controlled on the digital control unit via WiFi or via the Smart Life app using a mobile device. Optionally, the heat pump is available in a package with the eCONTROL system controller from January 2023 and is thus "Smart Grid" capable.

The eHEAT with 12.5 kW and 80 l buffer tank is available immediately via the three-stage sales channel. A variant with 8.5 kW is in preparation.
