PLANOX washbasin units completely pre-assembled

PLANOX washbasin units completely pre-assembled

With the new pre-assembled PLANOX washbasin units, KWC Professional offers the optimum system solution for public sanitary facilities, industrial washing facilities, leisure, sports and educational facilities, as well as for the custodial and security sector. As an efficient and cost-optimised alternative to combining individual modular products, the manufacturer now offers completely prefabricated units including fittings and water channels.

The clear, architecturally minimalist design made of high-quality, recyclable stainless steel emphasises the long-lasting character of the pre-configured washbasin units. A straight front wall provides a generously sized sink. The sloping lower edge of the basin allows water to drain away reliably, demonstrating the design affinity with the PLANOX wash troughs from the KWC Professional product range. The high and wide apron also gives the overall product stable proportions. The integrated rear wall also serves as a splash guard. The inclined and offset tap panel prevents unwanted objects from being placed on them, while also adding to the solid stability of the washbasin units.

The new PLANOX washbasin units are available in four widths with one to four wash places (600 mm wide each) and three tap variants – both with hydraulic or electronic bibtaps and with electronic wall-mounted mixers with temperature lever. There is no need for time-consuming chiselling and slotting work, as all variants require only one water connection and drain, regardless of the number of wash places.

The new F5 hybrid washbasin tap with optimum performance and safety

The new F5 hybrid washbasin tap with optimum performance and safety

When installing sanitary facilities and patient bathrooms in care facilities and retirement homes, the highest standards of hygiene, functionality, and ease of cleaning are required. The ultimate priority is to prevent the transmission of pathogens via surfaces or in drinking water.

The innovative F5 hybrid washbasin tap offers seamless functionality and flexibility. Installed on the washbasin, it can be operated manually via the lever to adjust the temperature and flow rate to your preference. Alternatively, a touch-free option is available—simply wave your hand in front of the optoelectronic sensor to activate the water flow at a preset mixing temperature.

Designed with a 175 mm spout projection, the F5 tap features an adjustable swivel range of 50°, 120°, or 360°. Its thoughtful design, combining projection and height, ensures accessibility and convenience—ideal for tasks like washing hair, even for seated users.

The new tap has a factory-activated hygiene purge 24 hours after the last operation, ensuring that high standards of drinking water hygiene are maintained. Relevant statistical data can be downloaded via an optional, bidirectional remote control, verifying the hygiene procedures. The sensor range or flow time can also be adjusted. A simple 2-button remote control from the KWC Professional accessories is also available to switch off cleaning.

The stainless steel housing, with a brushed finish, contributes to hygiene and contains all the important tap components, such as the mixing cartridge, solenoid valve, sensor, and control electronics. The F5 hybrid washbasin tap can be used as a stand-alone solution with battery operation or separate power supply via mains unit with all the advantages of an electronic tap.

The hybrid washbasin tap can be integrated into the AQUA 3000 open water management system using the optionally available KWC Professional accessories.

Smart water management with C-module for washing & showering

Smart water management with C-module for washing & showering

The new connectivity module (C-module) from KWC Professional will also be available for the F5 wall-mounted mixers from 2025. The associated KWC Smart Connect app makes managing the electronic F7 pillar taps and F5 wall-mounted mixers easy.

The optimised F5 wall-mounted mixers are now available as an electronic thermostatic mixer with a C-module,a self-closing hydraulic thermostatic mixer, and a single-lever mixer. They also include a pre-assembled hygiene unit with an integrated C-module or with the option of adding this unit later.

The solenoid valve cartridge in the hygiene unit allows an automatic hygiene flush to prevent stagnation in the installation system and thus ensure drinking water hygiene. A hygiene purge is set at the factory every 24 hours.

The pre-assembled and retrofittable hygiene units blend harmoniously into the all-metal cylinder housing. As with the optional combination with the F7 pillar taps, the functional scope of the C-module enables the fitting to be controlled and parameterised. . The C-module provides a direct connection between the tap and the app.

The new KWC Smart Connect app can securely network up to 100 taps, as it is password protected, wireless networking. This means group-based tap functions are already possible at the sanitary room level without additional investment in higher-level control hardware. Individual settings, such as water flow time or sensor range, can be parameterised. General information, e.g. on the battery status, is displayed, and relevant statistical data can be exported and saved.
