AC ELWA 2 is a 0 - 3.5 kW linearly controlled water heating device for grid-connected photovoltaic systems and is the successor to our proven AC ELWA-E. In order to maximize the self-consumption of your current PV system, AC ELWA 2 harnesses the system's surplus photovoltaic energy to heat your water. Increasing self-sufficiency simultaneously safeguards against unpredictable or rising operating costs. The PV feed-in power can be regulated to zero by the linear control.

Our trusted optional hot water backup function is included in AC ELWA 2: In the absence of sufficient sunlight, energy from the public power grid can be used to heat the water to the desired temperature. AC ELWA 2 can be installed in hot water and buffer storage tanks.

SOL•THOR is a 0 to 3.6 kW linearly regulated DC Power Manager for photovoltaic heat.

The direct current power manager utilizes direct current from photovoltaic modules directly for heat generation. Solar power is efficiently converted into heat by transferring the direct current from the photovoltaic modules exclusively and with minimal loss to a connected heating element.

A notable feature of the DC Power Manager is its autonomous operation. The device does not require a connection to the power grid, as it independently draws energy from the PV generator.

The heating element, such as a my-PV immersion heater, is installed separately in the heat storage unit. This allows existing heating elements in current heat storage systems to be controlled with the SOL•THOR, enabling economical retrofitting of an ecological heating system.

SOL•THOR can be flexibly used with PV system consisting of 1 to 10 PV modules.

ELWA is a 2 kW photovoltaic water heating device. Direct current from photovoltaic modules is transferred directly to the built-in heating element and immediately converted into heat without loss. The built-in MPP Tracker ensures that the PV generator is always operated at the optimum operating point (similar to a PV inverter).

For operation, no connection to the mains is required as the unit is powered by the PV generator (pure off-grid operation). The desired DHW temperature is set with a rotary knob, LED displays inform about the current device status.
