AC ELWA 2 is a 0 - 3.5 kW linearly controlled water heating device for grid-connected photovoltaic systems and is the successor to our proven AC ELWA-E. In order to maximize the self-consumption of your current PV system, AC ELWA 2 harnesses the system's surplus photovoltaic energy to heat your water. Increasing self-sufficiency simultaneously safeguards against unpredictable or rising operating costs. The PV feed-in power can be regulated to zero by the linear control.

Our trusted optional hot water backup function is included in AC ELWA 2: In the absence of sufficient sunlight, energy from the public power grid can be used to heat the water to the desired temperature. AC ELWA 2 can be installed in hot water and buffer storage tanks.

Hot water heating and space heating with solar power

AC•THOR 9s is a 0 - 9 kW linearly controlled photovoltaic power diverter for hot water, electric heat sources and optional space heating.

Simple & efficient: AC•THOR 9s controls up to 3 electrical heat sources depending on the availability of PV energy and heat demand – for both hot water, as well as for space heating. It ensures your personal living comfort fully automatically. In a residential building that is built or renovated according to current energy standards, AC•THOR 9s replaces conventional, water-based building installations. Missing residual energy can be obtained from the public grid.

Of course, AC•THOR 9s can also be integrated into conventional, water-based systems such as buffer storages. Its flexibility leaves nothing to be desired. Thanks to the built-in touch display, it can be operated without any additional devices at any time and it is easy to install.

SOL•THOR is a 0 to 3.6 kW linearly regulated DC Power Manager for photovoltaic heat.

The direct current power manager utilizes direct current from photovoltaic modules directly for heat generation. Solar power is efficiently converted into heat by transferring the direct current from the photovoltaic modules exclusively and with minimal loss to a connected heating element.

A notable feature of the DC Power Manager is its autonomous operation. The device does not require a connection to the power grid, as it independently draws energy from the PV generator.

The heating element, such as a my-PV immersion heater, is installed separately in the heat storage unit. This allows existing heating elements in current heat storage systems to be controlled with the SOL•THOR, enabling economical retrofitting of an ecological heating system.

SOL•THOR can be flexibly used with PV system consisting of 1 to 10 PV modules.
