In many buildings, smoke ventilation and air compensation systems play a vital role in protecting lives and health during a fire. Their primary purpose is to enable evacuation, limit the spread of smoke, and ensure access for rescue services. Saw-Pol manufactures components compliant with applicable regulations and standards. Smoke ventilation of evacuation corridors is critical as they must remain smoke-free to facilitate safe evacuation. For such applications, we produce ventilation grilles that shield and mask smoke dampers, commonly KW and KPZ grilles.

An essential component for drawing in compensatory air from outside is our adjustable ZSR-N louvers. Equipped with actuators, they automatically open when the fire alarm system is activated. Their effectiveness and reliability have been confirmed through tests conducted at the CNBOP Fire Safety Institute.

Air Intakes and External Grilles play a key role in ventilation systems by ensuring an adequate supply of fresh air and protecting the installation from contamination and damage. The advantages of our components lie in their robust construction from durable materials such as stainless steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum, making them resistant to weather conditions like rain, snow, wind, and UV radiation. They are available in various shapes and colors, allowing for seamless integration with the style of rooms and buildings. Our components are custom-made, enabling us to meet the expectations and visions of even the most demanding designers and architects.

We offer a variety of options regarding effective surface area and free opening, tailored to specific project requirements. The CzS-A wall-mounted air intake is our standard product, available in different variants to achieve the desired parameters. These range from intakes with standard louver spacing to the CzS-A-HV model, which offers a 75% optical free area and a 60% net free surface area, as well as the highly popular CzS-A-HF high-flow intake, featuring a 90% optical free area and a 75% net free surface area.

Our air intakes and external grilles can be equipped with appropriate filters or protective meshes to prevent contaminants from entering the ventilation system, thereby extending the system’s lifespan and reducing maintenance frequency. The special louver design prevents rainwater from entering the ventilation duct.

Saw-Pol offers grilles with adjustable louvers that can be set at different angles. Their primary benefits include precise control over airflow, protection against weather conditions, and improved energy efficiency by enabling partial closure during unfavorable weather. These louvers can be manually adjusted (ZSR-N-R type), controlled by a pull cord (ZSR-N-C type), or electrically operated using an actuator (ZSR-N-S type).

We also provide acoustic damping louvres, designed to reduce noise generated by machines in production halls, HVAC units, and other sources. These intakes are indispensable in various facilities, including residential, industrial, office, and educational buildings, where minimizing noise from machinery is crucial. Our sound-attenuating components are engineered not only to reduce noise but also to maintain optimal airflow. Thanks to their shape and strategic placement in the ventilation system, they ensure maximum airflow efficiency.

Advantages of displacement diffusers

The most important feature of displacement diffusers is a laminar, low-turbulent flow that allows for the supply of large amounts of air to the work or occupied zone, thus enabling effective removal of polluted air without causing drafts.

The displacement diffuser can be installed both near the floor and above the occupied zone. Powder coating in any color from the RAL palette guarantees an attractive appearance, high level of aesthetics and durability.

Long-range air diffusers

Our long-range air diffusers ensure even air distribution over significant distances, making them especially valuable in large industrial halls, warehouses, and logistics centers. The advantages of our products lie in their robust construction using durable materials such as stainless steel (1.4301/304 and 1.4404/316L), galvanized steel, or aluminum. Our components are custom-made, allowing us to meet the expectations and visions of even the most demanding designers and architects.

The NWO-11 swirl diffuser features movable blades regulated by a central mechanism, enabling variable air flow geometry. Its high induction and convenient air stream adjustment make it suitable for both cooling and heating functions.

The adjustment of the diffuser blade angle can be carried out in three ways:

  • Manual adjustment (RR)
  • Adjustment with a Belimo actuator (RS-E)
  • Adjustment using a wax actuator (RS-W)

For the diffuser equipped with a wax actuator, the blade tilt angle changes automatically based on the temperature of the supplied air. This solution eliminates the need for additional energy sources or power supply.

The NWO-12 round swirl diffusers, featuring adjustable air flow direction, have individually adjustable blades. Their high induction and the ability to shape the air stream freely make them suitable for both cooling and heating applications.

The NWO-9 long-range swirl diffusers come with fixed blades set at a 45° angle.

We also offer NWO-10 jet diffusers. By rotating the unit 180°, it is possible to achieve either a dispersed or concentrated supply stream.

All diffusers can be installed directly in ventilation ducts or combined with a plenum box for mounting in suspended ceilings, including modular panels.
