The HHP-H2 was originally designed for use in air conditioning and ventilation construction, but is now also highly valued by many customers from different industries. The horizontal suspension makes handling this type of clinching units even easier.

The clinching units HHP-H2 can be used to connect angular air ducts and associated flanges that meet the highest requirements of DIN EN 1507: 2006 with regard to tightness class D.

COBOT CLINCH UNIT HHP-R

BTM has developed its HHP-R pneumatic scissors-type clinching pliers for use on collaborating robots, or cobots for short. In addition the unit can be used to mount to a pillar or direct into a machine. For this a multifunctional mount interface is desigend. Its slim design together with the large window opening and the wide opening angle offer many application possibilities.

The COBOT clinching pliers HHP-R is another development in the HHP series. Originally designed for use in air conditioning and ventilation construction, this lightweight clinching pliers with an enormous force of 35kN is an attactive solution for use on robots as well. For the new collaborative robots, BTM has created an interface for easy adaptation of this type of pliers. The clinching pliers can be equipped with the common round point systems Tog-L-Loc®, V-Loc™ and Fixed-Loc™ but also with all BTM GEOmetric clinching point systems.

MANUAL DRIVE CLINCH UNIT MCP-44

The MCP-44 Floor Standing machine is a pneumo-hydraulically operating press and can be used for clinching with all common BTM tools, for punching, coining, perforating and for pressing in bolts and nuts. At 6 bar, 45 kN of pressing force is generated via a pressure converter.

Up to 92 mm of infeed stroke can be manually set by the operator via a hand lever, and smaller strokes can also be preset via locking bolts. The power stroke is triggered by an additional foot pedal when an inside width of 6 mm is reached. In this position, several strokes can be performed in succession. A second foot pedal is used for the complete return stroke to the home position.

Thanks to BTM's standardized design with two jaw-side connection options, the MCP-44 post bed machine has a wide range of mold mounting options. This means that individual customer solutions can also be implemented with standardized mold mounting systems.

HAND-HELD CLINCH UNIT ULG SN7

The pneumo-hydraulic BTM clinch and pierce unit ULG SN7 combines high joining force with rapid cycle time.

The integrated air-oil-booster runs silently and completely vibration-free. 7 bar air supply activates the drive system. The joining stroke can be released by a hand lever. Also a foot pedal release is available. BTM ULG clinch units offer an high level of integrity in use.

Due to their modular design, a wide range of tooling heads such as several C-frames, scissor heads respectively special heads can be offered. These can be changed in just a few steps while the drive unit remains identical.

The well-balanced, light-weight and ergonomical construction of this unit minimizes the stress on the user.

HAND-HELD CLINCH UNITS WITH 2-HAND CONTROL

Maximum work safety for the user in every situation - thanks to Hand-Held Clinch Units with 2-hand control from BTM. This means that even interfering edges higher than 6 mm are no longer a problem.

In practice, it happens frequently that clinching tools within a component have to plunge over an interfering edge to the clinching position. If this interfering edge is higher than 6 mm, a device must be provided for safety reasons that ensures maximum work protection for the operator.

Hand-Held Clinch Units with 2-hand control from BTM are ideal for this purpose. The handles are arranged either horizontally or vertically, depending on the task at hand.

The drive of this type of tongs can be air-oil-driven or purely hydraulic according to the customer's requirements. Due to the modular design including hydraulic cylinder, C-frame and pincer jaw, the clinching tool meets customer-specific requirements. Individual adaptation is simple and uncomplicated.

The clinching units are designed to be weight-optimized and are individually balanced for maximum operating comfort.
