The new simplicity

When developing the siphon, burgbad deliberately focussed on simplification. The burgbad cleanFlow uses the physics of water to optimise the traditional principle of the siphon. After six years of development work in the water laboratory, extensive testing and the presentation of the prototype at ISH 2023, burgbad is now launching the burgbad cleanFlow siphon and the matching burgbad cleanFlow+ closing valve as series products.

Optimised siphon technology

With the burgbad cleanFlow trap, the odour barrier sits much higher than with conventional systems, almost directly under the drain ring of the washbasin. The advantages are obvious: firstly, burgbad cleanFlow ensures clean air in the bathroom; and secondly, it is easily visible from above and can be easily reached and kept clean with a cleaning cloth.

Sustainable solution

burgbad cleanFlow is easy to clean and particularly low in blockages, minimising the use of cleaning agents and aggressive drain cleaners in particular - a very effective long-term contribution by burgbad to environmental protection. An additional effect is the reduction in packaging waste.

Plug-and-play installation

Installing the burgbad cleanFlow is very simple and much less time-consuming than installing conventional models. The siphon consists of fewer parts and is easy to adapt, assemble and install. In addition, the siphon, which sits directly under the washbasin, remains easily accessible even after installation. The siphon pot can simply be unscrewed and reinserted just as easily. This also makes it a good alternative to systems with a concealed overflow. On the microsite launched especially for the burgbad cleanFlow, installation videos clearly show the advantages of the new siphon during installation and cleaning.

Storing water safely with burgbad cleanFlow+

burgbad cleanFlow is supplied with a permanent drain with drain cover as standard. An additional feature is an optional closure that can be ordered separately with the burgbad cleanFlow+. burgbad cleanFlow+ is a specially developed, innovative closing valve with integrated automatic overflow protection; it is perfectly matched to the burgbad cleanFlow and can be easily replaced with the permanent drain of the standard version. burgbad cleanFlow+ has a push-to-open function that allows the water to be backed up without the need for an eccentric rod and overflow hole: From a certain fill level, the burgbad cleanFlow+ opens automatically to prevent overflowing. This means that countertop washbasins without overflow holes and washbasins with wall-mounted taps can now also be stowed without risk.

Ideal for console solutions - closed, open, barrier-free

burgbad cleanFlow is the perfect tool for realising convenient console washbasin systems. Made of high-quality anthracite-coloured plastic, the colour of the trap matches the interior of the burgbad vanity units. However, thanks to the high-level siphon and the linear pipework, it also cuts a fine figure under open console solutions, where it leaves plenty of room for manoeuvre. It is therefore also ideal for designing minimalist and barrier-free console solutions. The highlight: with the burgbad cleanFlow+, it is now possible for the first time to safely stow countertop washbasins without a tap hole bench and even thin-walled countertop washbasins and special solutions with bowls.
