Description

Air-to-water heat pumps

The PMH™ 6 and PMH™ 19 air-to-water heat pumps heat and produce hot water by converting the environmental energy contained in the air into usable energy in a highly efficient manner.
Operation with a cooling function is also possible as an option.

The PMH™ monobloc heat pump with heat exchanger and closed R32 refrigerant circuit is connected directly to the heating system - no refrigeration engineer is required for installation. A heating pump with frost protection function is integrated.

On the consumer side, 2 heating circuits (optionally configurable as a cooling circuit) and a hot water preparation system can be connected. Included are a heating curve programme (optionally configurable as a cooling curve), night setback, legionella control and absence programme. The control system is accessible via PC and smartphone app.

XRGI® CHP with battery storage system

With our battery systems, you can store electricity from the building‘s own production. This allows you to increase your own consumption and make yourself and your electricity requirements independent of both falling feed-in tariffs and rising electricity prices.

Utilise your self-generated energy to the maximum by simply storing surplus electricity produced by the XRGI® and PV system in the battery - and using it again later when needed. This makes it easy to maximise self-sufficiency.

The battery system acts as a power storage unit and backup supply at the same time and can be connected to up to 3 power generators (2 XRGI® CHP units, 1 PV system) with a maximum active power of 30 kWel.

The key features:

  • Plug & play battery storage system with battery modules, inverter, grid coupling switch, measurement technology, grid monitoring, fuses, app.
  • Thanks to the modular design, the system can be installed quickly and retrofitted if necessary - saving you time and money.
  • PV modules can be connected directly to the battery inverter or via a PV inverter. Multiple generators can be easily integrated.
  • The integrated energy management allows components such as charging stations and heat pumps to be controlled and self-consumption to be optimised
  • If the public power supply fails, the system automatically switches to stand-alone operation - the XRGI® CHP unit and battery supply the consumers connected to the backup power circuit

The combination of heat pump and XRGI® cogeneration unit combines the best of both systems systems and ensures that the building is optimally supplied.

The power heat pump reduces both fuel and electricity consumption and supplies climate-friendly electricity and heat - affordable, simple and safe.

The key features:

  • Area of application: multi-family houses, commercial and service enterprises, public buildings
  • Output range 22 kWth to 63 kWth (cascades of up to 4 XRGI® and 6 PMH™ enable higher outputs)
  • Suitable for low temperature radiators, underfloor heating, wall and ceiling heating
  • Whisper-quiet operation due to special fan blade geometry and sound-enclosed design
  • Max. flow temperature up to 78 °C with Flow Master and 80/83 °C without Flow Master
  • High efficiency (A+++), even in partial load range
  • Fuels: Natural gas, biomethane, LPG, bio LPG, hydrogen (pro rata)

XRGI® COGENERATION PLANTS

The XRGI® from EC POWER is a compact combined heat and power unit (CHP) and works according to the principle of cogeneration: the energy contained in the fuel is converted directly on site into kinetic energy for electricity production and thermal energy for heating.

In the 6 - 80 kWel output class, the appliances in the XRGI® series are among the most compact CHP units on the market. The modular system design of the XRGI® and a patented integration principle enable easy installation in any basement or utility room.

  • Output classes 6, 9, 15, 20 kWel, cascadable up to 80 kWel
  • Natural gas, liquid gas, biomethane, bio liquid gas, bio/sewage gas, H2 proportionate up to 50 %, H2 100 %
