POCKETFAR DIRT SEPARATOR FILTER

FAR Rubinetterie SpA

Description

POCKETFAR - Under-boiler chrome-plated dirt separator filter for domestic systems, complete with magnetic insert for ferrous particles removal.

  • Connections to pipelines: 3/4” M-F
  • 1cm extensible fitting for boler connection
  • Removable magnetic insert in Neodymium
  • Opening/closing handle for extraordinary maintenance
  • Inner mesh in AISI304 steel with filtration level of 700μm

The POCKETFAR dirt separator filter catches all the impurities and the iron particles that deposit inside the system over the time, thus safeguarding the life of the boiler. Carry out a thorough washing of the system before installing PocketFAR.

The water entering the dirt separator filter enters the socket, where the particles of impurities are filtered and blocked before entering the boiler. The magnetic insert offers an additional advantage in the removal of ferrous particles in older systems, subject to corrosion.

The filter is equipped with a telescopic joint (1cm extension) that makes installation easier.

PocketFAR should be placed on the return line before the boiler, in order to catch all the impurities that might damage the boiler and pumps.

  • Body material: CB753S brass
  • White handle: ABS
  • Filtering cartridge: AISI304
  • O-ring: EPDM
  • Socket for dirt collection: PA12
  • Filtration level: 700 μm
  • Kv: 3.3 m3/ h
  • Max working temperature: 85°C
  • Max working pressure: 4 bar
  • Boiler side connection: 3/4” swiveling nut
  • System side connection: 3/4’ male eurokonus, with flat faced insert

SKUDOFAR LINE

The SKUDOFAR product line protects the system, ensuring the correct operation of all installed components.

By installing SKUDOFAR products you get advantages, such as:

  • Consumption reduction
  • Improved efficiency
  • Noise reduction
  • Long life of components
  • Good treatment of incoming water and condensation

ACID CONDENSATE NEUTRALIZER

Useful to treat the acid condensate produced by condensing boilers before directing it into the drain system. By neutralizing the condensation, the problem of corrosion on gutters, channels or drainage pipes is avoided.

POLYFAR POLYPHOSPHATE DOSING FILTER

Current regulations require the installation, at the entrance of the sanitary system, of a filter and a device that acts on the hardness of the water, reducing it, in order to eliminate limescale. PolyFAR is a device that combines two needs: it reduces the hardness of the water thanks to polyphosphates and stops impurities through a built-in fi lter cartridge.

SKUDOFAR CHEMICAL ADDITIVES

According to the current Standard, FAR off ers a range of chemical additives for the water treatment for new and existing heating and cooling systems.

  • SKUDO1 Liquid inhibitor: protection against corrosion, encrustations, limestone, hydrogen formation and microbial growth.
  • SKUDO3 Liquid cleaner: removal of sludge, encrustations and debris restoring the correct operation of the system.
  • SKUDO7 Liquid biocide: control and removal of microbial, bacterial and algae growth.
  • SKUDOMONO Single-dose additive: protection against corrosion and algae growth.

FAR DIRT SEPARATORS AND DEAERATORS

The dirt separator, installed in cooling and heating systems, is designed to filter out any impurities in the water supply, thus improving heat exchange and ensuring good thermal fluid circulation.

Any impurities (such as rust or welding debris) drop down into an appropriate seating where, once settled, they can no longer return to the system.

The dirt separator has an internal chamber that reduces flow rate and decreases the drag force, facilitating separation of impurities.

Inside this chamber a cartridge is placed transversally to the direction of the flow, acting as a barrier to the water and reducing its kinetic energy, so that impurities drop down. The effect is reinforced by the use of tongues on the vertical bars of the cartridge, which drive the impurities downwards. The debris deposited at the bottom of the dirt separator can be discharged through a drain cock located in the lower section.

The dirt separators art.2202-2215-2205-2206 with magnetic inserts are ideal for systems with a high concentration of iron particles, deposits or debris caused by corrosion.

The dirt separator should be placed on the return line before the boiler, in such a way as to catch all the impurities that might damage the boiler and pumps. It is recommended that the dirt separator is installed between two isolating valves for maintenance.

  • Body: CB753S brass
  • Lower cock: CW617N brass
  • Max. working temperature: 110°C
  • Nominal pressure: 10 bar
  • Filtration cartridge: PA6
  • O-Ring: EPDM

The SMART dirt separator, installed in cooling and heating systems, is designed to filter out any impurities in the water supply, thus improving heat exchange and ensuring good thermal fluid circulation.

The dirt separator art.2272 has a special compact shape and reduced dimensions compared to the majority of similar items available on the market. This feature easily allows the installation under boilers in domestic heating systems.

A threaded connection with a plug is located on top of the dirt separator, so that an automatic air vent valve can be installed to make gas purging easier.

The dirt separator CompactFar is a device designed for the installation on domestic boilers.

Inside of the Compactfar there’s a filter cartridge that allows to separate from water all the impurities that are circulating in the pipes and could damage or cause malfunction failures of the boiler. In the down part of the separator there is a magnet that make the Compactfar ideal for the installation on implants in which there is a major quantity of ferrous particles, incrustation or detritus due to corrosion.

Deaerator for heating systems

  • Body made of CB753S brass
  • Connection to pipelines: F-F
  • 1/2” bottom plug
  • Swiveling air vent valve
  • Patent pending n° MI2011A002363
  • Available in the following sizes: 3/4” - 1” - 1”1/4 - 1”1/2 - 2

The FAR deaerator is used in heating and cooling systems to remove air bubbles from the circuit.

Air may be present in the circuit for several reasons:

- It may already be present during the filling phase and not properly discharged.

- It may be released from the water as the temperature increases.

- Air may be released with a decrease in pressure, such as might occur near pump aspirations or narrow sections of pipework.

Air inside the system can cause corrosion in the interior of the pipe and damage to installed components (such as pumps) leading to malfunctions, loss of heat exchange efficiency and
noise in the system.
