The tubra®-e-Therm is a hydraulic unit with integrated control for thermal storage of photovoltaic power to optimise in-house consumption. The compact hydraulic unit can be connected as a module to hot water accumulators with drinking water and buffer accumulators with heating water. Retrofitting to existing drinking water and buffer accumulators is easy. The integrated power measuring device is installed at the grid feed-in point upstream of the power meter. This helps to ensure priority for domestic electricity system-side. The control manages the output of the electric heater to reflect the excess power generated by the photovoltaic system in order to avoid grid feed-in. Output modulation makes it possible to use the entire excess photovoltaic energy production thermally despite fluctuating energy production and fluctuating domestic electricity consumption.

The fast reaction time for output measurement and output modulation ensures that no grid current is used for heating purposes. Even low and fluctuating excess power can be converted to usable heat with a constant temperature. The accumulator is charged in layers top-down; usable heat is available after a short time, and conventional, fossil re-heating is suppressed. The tubra®-e-Therm can output useful charge temperatures even at low outputs thanks to dual modulation.

tubra®-nemux S/M is a fresh water station especially designed for one and two-family houses. With the help of turba®-nemux S/M and the integrated stainless steel heater exchanger water gets heated up hygienically and in line with demand. During tapping the cold drinking water is pumped through the heat exchanger and heated up by hot water from the buffer tank which is pumped through the other side. The desired temperature of the drinking water is always achieved with this flow-fhrough pinciple.The leading pump is adjusted according to effective demand and regulated by an intelligent electronic control. In that way only effectively needed energy is taken from the buffer tank. Due to the special heat excchanger embossing, a high thermal length and thus low return temperatures are achieved. The well thought design and construction of the single components protects the heat exchanger against calcination, particularly the flow of hot water from bottom to top which guarantees a quick cooling down of parts exposed to calcination. Stop and flush valves assure a high level of usability and an easy maintenance. Special wall brackets are integrated for a quick and simple wall fastening. Alternatively tubra®-nemux can also be mounted directly on to the buffer tank. Completely pro-mounted the fresh water station tubra®-nemux has just to be connected wtih the buffer tank and the drinking water circuit.

The compact hydraulic unit can be connected modularly to heating coils of hot water tanks with drinking water and buffer tanks with heating water. Retrofitting to existing drinking water and buffer storage tanks is easily possible. The tubra®-e-Therm C solution for self-consumption optimization in interaction with external energy management systems.

By power modulation from external energy management systems it is possible to thermally use the entire photovoltaic surplus despite fluctuating photovoltaic power production and fluctuating household power demand.

Depending on the external energy management system, even small and fluctuating surplus power can be converted into usable heat at a constant temperature.
