Gebwell Smart – Smarter Heating

Gebwell Smart – Smarter Heating

Description

Gebwell Smart is an IoT-based solution that enables you to monitor, manage and optimise the operation of heat pumps and district heating substations. Gebwell Smart devices are connected to the Gebwell Smart service via a mobile data connection already at the factory, before delivery.

Gebwell Smart Hub provides a centralised view of all managed Gebwell Smart devices, from heat pumps to district heating substations. Systems can be monitored and managed through a visually clear user interface, both on mobile and desktop, using a remote connection.

Smart Hub allows you to:

  • Adjust basic device settings, such as the heating curve or domestic hot water temperature.
  • View the system operation history and diagnostic data.
  • Analyse energy consumption data and make changes to potentially save energy and costs.

Smart Hub sends alerts about system operation to selected email addresses. You can set time controls for the alerts: for example, that notifications are sent to one address on weekdays and to another in the evenings or on weekends.

Smart indicators and functions support system operation

Gebwell Smart Hub brings up smart indicators from the system that help with proactive maintenance and detect potential malfunctions or inefficiencies.

Gebwell Smart may detect signs of uneconomical use, such as heating system activity that is not optimal for the operation of the device. This includes short cycling of the heat pump compressor, which can shorten the service life of the component.

If Gebwell Smart detects a problem in the system through a smart indicator, such as the heat pump system not running optimally in relation to the operating conditions (e.g. domestic hot water is prepared too often or the duty cycles are too short), it is possible to set an email notification to be sent to the maintenance company.

Smart Hub can also identify signs in the system indicating a need for device maintenance before they affect system operation, including a damaged sensor or a filter blockage.

Gebwell Smart makes the management of heating systems smarter and more efficient, thereby improving the user experience and saving energy.

Gebwell G-Eco Core 40 - brine-to-water heat pump with natural refrigerant R290

Gebwell G-Eco Core is a powerful IoT inverter heat pump that uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. R290, also known as propane, is a hydrocarbon that has a minimal impact on global warming compared to traditional hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants. R290 refrigerant has a GWP of only 0,02 and an ODP of 0.

Gebwell G-Eco Core can adjust to the building’s energy needs year-round due to its inverter-controlled compressor. Continuously variable inverter control ensures that the heat output matches the network’s requirements exactly without overheating or underheating, minimising your heating costs.

G-Eco Core is connected to the manufacturer’s Gebwell Smart cloud service, allowing the heat pump to be controlled remotely through the browser-based Gebwell Smart Hub. Your maintenance company can view the status of the heating system and adjust heating settings remotely without having to send an engineer on site, saving time and money.

The remote connection also makes updating the heat pump’s controller easy. Data stored in the cloud service helps the manufacturer implement continuous improvements.

G-Eco Core’s compressor unit is completely isolated andt the heat pump is designed specifically for propane.

  • Manufactured in Finland
  • Continuously adjustable heating output
  • Electronic expansion valve
  • Controller with IoT features
  • Learning and evolving system
  • Monitoring and control also possible remotely through Gebwell Smart Hub
