Vincenzo Missanelli once again showcases his interpretation of Vetrofreddo®, by designing a new generation of freestanding basins for Glass Design. The choice of Vetrofreddo®, an innovative material composed of glass pigments and resins, allows for unhindered creativity thanks to its sheer versatility, being adaptable to any shape and available in multiple colourways, both glossy and matt. This extraordinary material VetroFreddo® patented by Glass Design, has given rise to Aquarama a captivating floor-standing designs that appeal to all manner of tastes, from contemporary and minimal to modern-classic and opulent. Floor-standing basin embodying a technical design which highlights its architectural aesthetic: the deep vertical grooves emphasise a chiaro/scuro (light/dark) effect which creates a two-tone illusion despite it being monochromatic in nature. Equipped with a floor-waste, Aquarama comes in matt black and matt white as well as a selection of metallic finishes (matt gold, matt dark inox and matt bronze), all with harmonising wastes.

Inspired by the city of Milan, undisputed capital of design, MILANOBATH® offers new inspirations and solutions with the aim of creating a particular type of bathroom, elegant, functional, timeless and reflecting the rich artisanal patrimony embodied in the Made in Italy phenomenon. Perfectly suited to accompany washbasins from the exclusive “Privileged Paths of Water” collection. For the first time, Glass Design introduces bamboo, a plant of extraordinary characteristics that, thanks to the vital force it possesses, is fast growing, eco-sustainable and utilisable in all its parts. It reduces air pollution, does not require the use of pesticides or chemical products. VIRTUS is a floor-standing vanity with door, shelves and integrated mirror. The structure is in bamboo and it comes complete with a brass top which can accommodate a tap, where required. The mirror’s support rod is in the same finish as the top. It can be complemented by an extensive selection of “Privileged Paths of Water” basins, of varying styles and finishes.

MINI are the iconic Glass Design bathtubs which, this year, have undergone an astute and sympathetic restyling. The MINI bathtub was created to provide an ad hoc design solution for compact settings. This project has also taken into account the choice of material used, with the introduction of Vetrofreddo®Compact, a new generation form of Vetrofreddo®. Displaying a sleeker and more minimalist design, the MINI STYLE bathtub – despite being the same size - allows for greater comfort within, thanks to a revised form which is wider and more ergonomic, not least since the overflow is directly integrated into the structure of the tub. Towards the back there is a 90° angle which allows it to fit snugly into a corner, a particular advantage in small bathroom settings. Furthermore, the area housing all the connections has also been modified to facilitate maintenance and installation. Of particular note is the fact the MINI STYLE bathtub has been designed to accommodate all types of bathtubs and comes complete with its own click clack waste in matching resin. There are various colours available, either two-tone or single colour and the “antiscratch” treatment addition - both for the interior and exterior of the tub - ensures the integrity of its colour finish over time.

The top, sides and one of the drawer fronts come in porcelain stone in Calacatta or Nero Marquinia marble effect.
