From mid-60s to the first innovations that started in 1987, HUBER established itself as a leader in the design and manufacture of thermostatic mixers for showers and bathrooms.
In1987 Max Huber, a Swiss technician already at the forefront of industrial activities, recognized a great future for a product that at the time was considered purely technical. He sensed this strong potential and developed it for the renewal of the bathroom: the thermostatic valve. Together with his wife Carmen and sons Maurizio and Alberto, he gave the then artisan company an energetic and market-oriented impulse.

Huber_Lab was born to develop the objectives inherent in the spirit of the company. It evolved into a creative interaction laboratory in which a diverse team of technicians and designers combine experience in technology and functionality with creativity and stylistic research resulting in an innovative approach to industrial design.
Listening, comparing and innovating. Each generation of new products and technologies is the result of a comprehensive and complex research and development process. It begins by actively listening to market demands and a creative comparison between the various actors. After a careful analysis of the needs and requirements, the interactive design is developed. The experienced internal team is joined in this phase by specialized creators and leading designers. By developing Huber_Lab, HUBER CISAL INDUSTRIE innovated its R+D+i process.

Resources and circular economy. Our products are essentially made of brass, a noble metal alloy of copper and zinc. Thanks to the extraordinary capabilities of the Italian industry, most of the metal used in our manufacturing is derived from recovery and recycling activities: a concrete commitment for sustainability within the framework of a true circular economy.
Control. HUBER thermostatic mixers help save water and energy by quickly managing the temperature and keeping it constant.
Every year, more than 1 million HUBER mixers are installed in homes and public spaces all over the world. Each household can save up to 22,000 liters of water and all the corresponding energy per year.
