Adconair heat recovery sets the highest standards with the counterflow plate heat exchanger. An essential component of this function is the counterflow plate heat exchanger, in which the extract air is cooled adiabatically. The outside air is cooled by the moist-cool exhaust air in counterflow. Due to a complete separation of the air paths, there is no moisture transfer from the extract air to the supply air. The high efficiency is based on the fact that both processes, the adiabatic evaporative cooling of the extract air and the cooling of the fresh air, take place simultaneously in the heat exchanger.
