Domestic hot water up to 90°C

The QAHV heat pump is Mitsubishi Electric’s specially developed solution for domestic hot water supply in residential buildings, as well as commercial and industrial applications with high degrees of domestic hot water demands. It uses the natural refrigerant R744 (CO2) with a GWP of 1. The system achieves excellent annual efficiency and can operate at outdoor temperatures as low as -25°C. In domestic hot water production, the QAHV heat pump delivers water temperatures as high as 90°C.

Up to 1,200 kW in cascade

Also now available for the first time with R290 refrigerant (propane) is the latest version of the MEHP-iS-G09 series. This reversible heat pump is perfect for greater heating capacity needs. Over the course of development, the capacity range was expanded to cover three different modules with nine rated heating capacities ranging from 50 to 150 kW. This allows for a cascade of up to eight units to achieve total capacities of up to 1,200 kW. At its lower outdoor temperature operating limit of -20°C, it still delivers flow temperatures of up to 60°C.

High performance in modernisation projects

Natural refrigerant meets high flow temperatures. The Ecodan air-to-water heat pumps in the PUZ-WZ series use the future-proof refrigerant R290 (propane) in the latest monoblock version. With flow temperatures of up to 75°C at outdoor temperatures as low as -15°C, they deliver reliable heating even on the coldest of winter days. The range of available heating capacities has now been expanded with new models offering 10 and 12 kW. And the series is set to grow further in the future. This will allow them to be installed flexibly in modernisation projects for single, double or multiple-occupancy properties.
