Mobile heating water filtration Ultraflex by Orben
Heating water filter mobile from ORBEN
Clean heating water protects and ensures the trouble-free performance of a system. For mobile cleaning of heating circuits, the water specialist ORBEN now offers the Thermostil Ultraflex system. The ready-to-connect mobile heating water filter removes magnetite, solid and suspended matter as well as dirt and foreign substances from the system water. Thermostil Ultraflex can also be rented to get to know the new system or for infrequent use.
With a heating water range of up to 90°C, the complete system filters all magnetic and non-magnetic deposits from the heating water of small and large systems. All components are mounted on a hand truck ready for operation: a combined fine and magnetite filter including filter bag for fine filtration down to 1µm, a tacosetter for adjusting the circulation rate, a water meter for recording the filtration rate, a connection for the optional connection of an ion exchanger cartridge and a highly efficient heating circulation pump. For an elevated position, the pump is fixed on a standing platform. The filtration mobile is connected to the heating circuit via thermo connection hoses including quick connectors (maximum operating pressure 6 bar).
Clean system water
Magnetite and rust sludge can cause malfunctions and damage in heating systems, for example to permanent-magnet high-efficiency pumps, the condensing boiler, heat exchangers or valves. This is because deposits that worsen heat transfer or impair control accuracy increase the effort and thus the costs involved in heat generation and transfer. Clean system water thus increases the service life of the heating system, protects its components and reduces running costs.
Also for rent and as a service
In addition to sales, Orben also offers the system to the trade for rent for a period of 4 weeks or more via the three-stage sales channel, as well as an extension option if required. The standard-compliant filtering of heating water is also part of Orben's extensive service programme, which the family-owned company can take over completely on behalf of the specialist tradesman, for example, in the event of high staff utilisation. For this purpose, Orben maintains a trained team of service technicians in its ten branches throughout Germany.

Complete desalination system for large quantities of heating or district heating water Jumbostil by Orben
Heating and circuit water for jumbo-sized systems
The water specialist Orben is now able to quickly provide even extremely large quantities of treated heating or circulation water. The Jumbostil demineralisation systems supply 12,000 to 22,000 l/h of ultra-pure water, depending on demand. The rental offer is suitable for large residential and commercial buildings as well as for local and district heating systems.
Standard-compliant treated heating or circulation water ensures the long-term efficiency and trouble-free heat transfer of a heating system. For an immediate supply of ultrapure water, the Jumbostil rental cartridges from Orben are ready for connection and sturdily fixed to a steel transport frame. For the cartridges weigh between 340 kg and 1200 kg and are more than 2 m high.
Standard-compliant ultrapure water in large quantities
They are filled with the manufacturer's own ion exchange resin "Thermion 2035 pH conform". The mixed-bed resin automatically regulates the pH value and produces heating water according to VDI 2035 / EN 1686 for domestic and building services as well as for district and local heating networks according to AGF 510. Depending on the application and the size of the system, the ultrapure water output is between 12,000 l/h and 22,000 l/h. The resin has been proved to contain a high percentage of pure water. According to the manufacturer, it demonstrably contains fewer ionogenic impurities than a distillate and is therefore of extremely high quality. For even larger quantities of ultrapure water, Orben also rents out trailer systems with an ultrapure water capacity of 60,000 l/h per trailer on request.
Treatment service on behalf of the trade
The standard rental period for the demineralisation systems via the three-stage distribution channel is four weeks, or for longer periods on request. On behalf of the trade, the nationwide Orben Service offers heating water treatment in accordance with standards as a service to relieve the trade. The service includes a detailed construction discussion and coordination with the client, the assumption of travel costs and labour costs, the provision and commissioning of the Jumbostil including consumables costs (ORBEN high-performance resin "THERMION 2035 pH conform" and 1 µm filter insert), the measurement and evaluation of the required analysis values according to DIN EN 14336 and VDI 2035 and the documentation of the analysis values, including a photo series in a system book.

Replenishing systems for heating water Serastil NKS
Orben repleneshing systems for heating water.
Fully demineralised heating water protects the service life and efficiency of heating systems. The water treatment specialist ORBEN now offers a new complete range of stationary refill stations for the standard-compliant replenishment of heating water.
The ready-to-connect refill cartridge systems, available in various sizes with or without system separator, ensure optimum and standard-compliant treatment of the make-up water according to VDI 2035 (as well as ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1) for small and medium-sized systems.
Two series in different sizes
The "Serastil NKS ready" series combines an automatic filling valve with system separator type BA and a desalination cartridge as a complete treatment concept. The system separator, which is equipped with a thermal insulation shell, includes a wastewater connection in accordance with DIN EN 1717 and thus fulfils the separation of the two systems required in the case of short-term and permanent contact between the freshwater pipe and the service water installation (i.e. the drinking water network and the heating system). The refilling station is further completed by pressure reducers to prevent pressure surges in the heating system, a double manometer to display the inlet and outlet pressure as well as shut-off valves at the inlet and outlet of the filling combi (½"). The double manometer helps with troubleshooting if the heating system has not been filled properly - it can be particularly helpful with fluctuating inlet pressures.
With the second series "Serastil NKS", the system separator must be available on site. With both series, a water meter for recording the replenishment water quantity, a ½" shut-off ball valve for regulating the replenishment quantity and safe shut-off complete the filling system. The automatic refill and treatment fitting complies with all normative requirements for heating water. The complete refilling and treatment system is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar, at a maximum temperature of 45° C.
Colour change and germ barrier
Both series are available with one, two or four cartridges. The maximum filling capacity is 60, 120 and 240 l/h respectively, with a capacity at 420 μs /cm to < 100 μS/cm of 115, 230 and 460 l. They are thus ideally suited for detached houses and apartment buildings. The high-performance cartridges for supplementary water are filled with Orben high-performance mixed bed resin as a variant with colour change. The more the resin is exhausted, the more the colour changes from blue to brown. The resin in the transparent cartridge thus reliably gives a change indication.
A germ barrier protects the make-up water from possibly contaminated supply water and prevents recontamination into the drinking water network. An integrated protective strainer additionally protects the heating system against possible resin leakage.

Magnetite and dirt separators for heat pumps RBM MP1 and MP2
Magnetite separators especially for heat pumps
Low pressure loss, high performance with a large flow range, a large collecting vessel, an extremely strong magnet as well as a fine-meshed filter network, ideally matched for hydraulic system conditions of heat pumps, but also wood heating systems: the new magnetite and sludge separators.
How it works
The MP1 and MP2 magnetite and sludge separators are equipped with a powerful neodymium magnet with 11,000 gauss as well as a fine-mesh filter insert. Due to this dual action, they reliably filter all magnetic and non-magnetic impurities from the heating system. The particularly large collection container makes both ideal for systems with heat pumps or wood heating systems.
How dual filtration works
Due to the change in cross-section of the filter chamber compared to the pipe, the heating water slows down there, the close-meshed filter insert catches all non-magnetic impurities exactly there. The magnetic impurities, such as magnetite, are then attracted and intercepted by the magnet mounted in the centre of the filter chamber. In this way, magnetic or ferrous and non-magnetic impurities are removed from the system and collected at the bottom of the large collection tank.
Maintenance
All necessary shut-off, draining and venting devices for maintenance are already integrated on both separators ex works. The drain ball valve is located at the bottom of the collection tank, the shut-off device and venting at the top of the filter housing. Without having to open the filter, the strong neodymium magnet can be pulled out downwards. Depending on how dirty the system is, this maintenance can also be carried out with cleaning of the filter screen. The unrivalled capacity of the collection tank accommodates longer maintenance intervals.
MP1 or MP2 - The difference is the installation situation
Magnetite and sludge separators should always be installed in the return before the heat generator to protect it from contamination, which usually comes from the system. However, not every system always offers enough space. The 28.5 cm high and 10 cm wide MP1 model stands out because of its large collection container. It should only be installed in horizontal pipelines. The more compact MP2 model is recommended for installation situations where there is not enough space. It can also be rotated 360° via the union nut of the diverter valve housing and installed horizontally, vertically or diagonally in almost all installation positions. Both models have a 1" connection and optional thermal insulation is available to maintain the heat level for reduced energy consumption, energy costs and CO2 emissions.
