Aquarea M Series: Modular Design for Every Home
Panasonic’s Aquarea M Series range of air-to-water heat pumps, has been carefully crafted with a modular concept, offering flexibility for different home needs and property types. The range includes AiO units with 185L DHW tank and a new unit with 260L DHW tank, Bi-Bloc systems, and Control Box or Remote-only basic functionalities, delivering a tailored solution for every customer. The system utilises the natural refrigerant R290, which boasts a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 3, making it a more environmentally responsible choice.

Big Aquarea T-CAP M Series

The latest addition to Panasonic’s air to water heat pump range is the Big Aquarea T-CAP M Series. Providing a flexible, compact and energy-efficient solution for central heating and domestic hot water, the versatile unit is available in sizes ranging from 20, 25 and 30 kW capacities, with the capability to scale up to 300 kW in cascade. The unit utilises the natural refrigerant R290, which has a low GWP of 3 for a sustainable solution, and provides heating temperatures of up to 75⁰C. The unit utilises T-CAP technology that allows for maintained rated capacity down to -15ºC at 55ºC water outlet whilst being a cost and space saving sustainable option. This makes its easily integrable with water systems such as fan coils, floor heating, domestic hot water tanks and radiators.

The 2-Pipe ECOi EX MZ1 Series stands out for its compact design and high seasonal efficiency, with the 10HP unit achieving ηs,c 310,1% in cooling and ηs,h 172,4% in heating. It achieves a significant 43% reduction2 in footprint due to its compact and lightweight design, in turn lowering design and installation efforts and costs. Furthermore, alongside its quiet operation the unit creates major benefits for multi-unit installations, including its ability to support up to 1000m of piping for a maximum of 64 indoor units enabling versatile installation whilst saving space.

Aimed at commercial applications, the 2-Pipe ECOi EX MZ1 Series possesses a wide operation range, maintaining its high performance in temperatures as low as -25°C and as high as 52°C.

Reduced refrigerant requirement and increased safety

The series uses 57% less R32 refrigerant compared to the R410A equivalent system. This reduction in refrigerant means that many systems can be installed without the need for additional safety measures typically required for R32 refrigerant systems. Safety is a top priority for Panasonic so the ECOi EX MZ1 Series includes standard compliant safety measures for R32 refrigerant such as new R32 refrigerant leak detectors and alarms, complying with EN 378 and IEC 60335-2-40 standards, plus it comes with a 2-Pipe safety valve kit.
