Grid serviceability & compliance with §14a EnWG
HEMS supports the requirements of §14a EnWG by integrating controllable consumption devices (e.g. heat pumps, wallboxes, battery storage) into the energy grid. This allows peak loads to be reduced, grid efficiency to be ensured and financial benefits to be exploited through reduced grid charges. This makes HEMS a future-proof solution for the energy transition.

Whether new build or retrofit - HEMS can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems. The open interface architecture enables simple integration into existing smart home, PV and storage solutions as well as connection to EMS and building automation systems. HEMS is compatible with common protocols such as Modbus TCP and RTU, Ethernet IP, which facilitates cross-manufacturer integration.

Simple control & full transparency
The intuitive app or web interface allows end customers and installers to keep track of energy flows, consumption and potential savings at all times. Motion detector series PIRA T

With the new PIRA T series, Theben is launching a range of motion detectors that enable simple, reliable and energy-efficient lighting control. The PIRA T series impresses with its high functionality, ease of installation and optimum adaptation to modern LED technologies.

Economical solution for a wide range of applications

PIRA T sets standards in automatic lighting control and offers an efficient, user-friendly solution for a wide range of applications. Thanks to their sophisticated design, PIRA T motion detectors are quick and easy to install and ensure optimum lighting control in almost any environment. Whether in corridors, WC entrance areas, storerooms or storage areas - the detectors are suitable wherever users are on the move and a standard installation height is required. The PIRA T collection is a particularly cost-effective choice in the price-sensitive contract business.

The advantages of the PIRA T series

Optimally positioned plug-in terminals at a 45° angle and a bracket for the sensor part of the outdoor detector make installation much easier. The detectors are also suitable for wiring with 2 x 2.5 mm² conductors.

Intuitive operation is made possible by easily adjustable potentiometers, which simplifies both the installation and operation of the detectors. Thanks to special LED switching load optimization such as a zero-crossing circuit, the detectors are suitable for use with modern light sources. In addition, the product series has been tested according to the high Theben requirements with 40,000 switching cycles. The permanent light measurement ensures that the light is reliably switched off when there is sufficient daylight, even when motion is continuously detected. The high detection accuracy of the detectors has been confirmed by the sensNORM test. The uniform design integrates the detectors harmoniously into different room concepts.

Yearly time switches top3

Bluetooth onboard for easy programming / Extensive time and astro functions / New 24V time switches

Theben AG is updating and consolidating its extensive portfolio of yearly time switches. The previous top2 devices are being replaced by three top3 yearly time switches with one, two or four channels. In addition, three new top3 time switches and astro time switches with 24V operating voltage are available. The new yearly time switches not only reduce energy consumption and save time when programming. They also cover many special cases thanks to their wide range of functions.

Flexible top3 operating concept

The top3 operating concept offers flexible programming options via smartphone, PC or directly on the device. Thanks to Bluetooth Onboard, programs can be transferred directly from the PC, smartphone or tablet to the annual time switches. The backward compatibility makes it possible to replace previous top2 devices with top3 devices and to adopt existing programs via Obelisk software.

Extensive functions

Time synchronization for precise switching is optionally available via a DCF/GNSS connection. The switching capacity of the devices on all channels is 16A, the LED switching capacity 600W. All devices have time and astro functions with three astro times (civil, nautical and astronomical twilight). The WWF's annual Earth Hour is already pre-programmed until 2044. One external input is available per channel. This allows special requirements to be implemented via push-buttons or switches as well as a central OFF function, for example for simple vacation switching. In addition, 16 special programs with extensive date ranges are available, e.g. pre-programmed public holidays, days dependent on Easter, freely selectable days.

Wide range of applications

The extensive year functions and external inputs open up a wide range of applications: shop window or advertising lighting can be controlled on the basis of opening times or working hours. Locking or ventilation systems can also be controlled. The lighting in schools and kindergartens can be controlled on the basis of opening times, vacation programs and public holiday programs. The astro functions can be used to control lighting in public squares, parks or parking lots at sunrise and sunset.

New 24V time switches

In addition to the new yearly timers, the range of timers and astro timers with 24V operating voltage has also been revised. The three new devices (1- and 2-channel timer and 1-channel astro timer) now feature the top3 operating concept with app programming and replace the previous product range of 24V top2 devices. The 2-channel time switch offers all the functions of the new yearly time switches including Bluetooth onboard and astro functions. These are very interesting for many solar applications with battery storage.
