Snow Melting Mat

Thermo Snow Melting Mat (SMM) is a pre-engineered solution for outdoor snow and ice melting applications, not requiring the assistance of a qualified and experienced technician for designing lay-outs. Like Snow Melting Cables, they can be widely used in drive ways, Pavements, Roads, Ramps, Bridges etc., under concrete or asphalt to melt the snow or ice during winter seasons.

Construction

SMM comprise of flexible plastic grid that carry heating cable uniformly fixed on it. The heating cable is a snow melting cable consisting a resistance element provided with primary fluoropolymer insulation or cross linkable PE earth screen and secondary insulation of Polyolefin.

Heating cables could be single conductor with 5.0 mm outer diameter and terminating on cold leads at two ends of the mat or could be twin conductor with 6.0 mm outer diameter and terminating on cold leads at one end of the mat. SMM come with a 5.0 m length cold leads as a standard.

It is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail – prefabricated & tested in a carefully controlled factory environment.

Under Tile Heating Cables

Thermo Under Tile Heating Cable (UTHC) are an alternative to floor heating mats for tiled, wooden or laminate flooring. With high heating efficiency, they are a more economical option to Floor Heating mats and suit better for irregular shaped rooms.

Construction

Under Tile Heating cable (UTHC) is a series type heating cable of either a twin conductor with cold lead of standard 3.0M length on one side; or single conductor with cold lead of standard 3.0M length on both sides for power connection. The cable has resistance heating wire provided with a primary insulation of high temperature polymer then covered with earth screen and final outer sheath of polyolefin (LSZH) / PVC, high temperature polymer as desired. The final outer diameter of twin conductor cable is approx. 3.2 mm and single conductor cable is approx. 2.3 mm.

It is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail – prefabricated & tested in a carefully controlled factory environment.

Sticky Floor Heating Mats

Sticky Floor Heating Mats (SFHM) are suited to generate heat under tile, wooden or laminate floors in bathrooms, kitchens, entry-ways and sun rooms. Very thin product is what makes them ideally suited for renovation of homes, apart from green-field construction.

The ease of installation makes them an ideal DIY ‘Do-it-Yourself’ kit without technicians for planning their layouts. You can avoid spoiling the aesthetics of room with unsightly radiators or convector heaters, by using Sticky Floor Heating Mats.

Heating cables could be single conductor with approx. 2.3 mm outer diameter and terminating on cold leads are power cables at both ends of the mat or could be twin conductor with approx. 3.2 mm thickness and cold leads terminating at one end of the mat.

Constant Watt Type Freeze Protection Cables

Thermo Freeze Protection Cables (FPC) are the robust and tough cables designed for “on pipe” as well as “in pipe” applications in domestic and commercial requirement to protect water from freezing. They are adaptable to all areas where natural frost protection cannot be achieved.

FPC-C: Freeze Protection Cable – Constant Watt type designed for “on pipe” as well as “in pipe” applications.

FPC-C is a twin conductor series resistance heating cable comprising Multistrand or coiled heating element, provided with primary insulation of high temperature polymer, then earth screen on twin conductor and polyolefin outer jacket. They terminate with standard cold leads of 2.0m length.

FPC-CT: Freeze Protection Cable – Constant Watt type with inbuilt temperature limiter, is designed for “on pipe” applications.

FPC-CT is a twin conductor series resistance heating cable comprising of resistance elements provided with primary insulation of high temperature polymer, then earth screen on twin conductor and Polyolefin outer jacket. They terminate with standard cold leads of 2.0m length with plug.

Temperature limiter / Thermostat, a control element is incorporated inbuilt to control switching power “on” and “off” to the heating cable depending upon the surface temperature of the water pipeline. Preset Thermostat / Temperature limiter operates at a factory set temperature to “switch on” at about 3℃ and “switch off” at about 12℃.
