MEFA Befestigungs- und Montagesysteme GmbH has been known for 75 years for its assembly systems in the fields of sanitary, heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology as well as plant engineering. For over 13 years, MEFA has had a second mainstay in the field of renewable energies.
In the beginning, the products were marketed under the name MEFA energy systems. Since 2022, the proven concept has been given a new name: multiQ. The prefix "multi" stands for multiple, and the "Q" has two meanings. On the one hand, the letter Q stands for source, and on the other hand, the letter Q is used to designate a heat or cold source in technology.
multiQ sees itself as an experienced partner for industry, public institutions and private users when it comes to innovative and regenerative heating and cooling systems. The absorbers developed in-house offer the possibility of serving as an energy source in different ways. Renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, rain, ice, geothermal, groundwater and process heat are combined with heat pumps and low-temperature heating systems. Thus, multiQ offers cost-efficient, environmentally conscious and customized systems for heating and also for cooling residential and non-residential buildings. This is possible for both new buildings and renovations. This allows operating costs to be reduced and a contribution to environmental protection to be made.
