Fiumo has mastered the art of uniting opposites seemingly effortlessly: a simple, formally stringent design language with a soft feel, the linearity of the mineral washbasin with a soft inner contour, minimalist design with plenty of storage space and a clean look with a warm overall impression. Fiumo thus marks the new entry-level class for the lifestyle bathroom, because it not only looks good - it also offers an attractive price-performance ratio.

A good package with many options

The programme developed by the German bathroom furniture specialist consists of a selection of sleek tall and half-height cabinet elements for wall mounting as well as a vanity unit in four widths - from a small, 60 cm wide washbasin to a 1.20 m wide single or double washbasin. There are well-equipped mirror cabinets and illuminated mirrors to match. As an extra, burgbad has given Fiumo a clever panel system for the tool-free clipping in of shelves for mirrors, fronts and wall shelves. All cabinet elements offer plenty of conveniently organised storage space and can be combined with different design fronts - also in bicolour.

This is because the available decors and materials are specifically matched to each other and create a light, Scandinavian-style ambience, a modern, warm white look or a dark, elegant atmosphere to suit individual preferences. And everything in between.

Everything in flow: a fluid interplay of lines, curves and planes

The matching cast mineral washbasin with a soft feel really shows its edge on the outside: with a particularly narrow edge design and a slight overhang that harmonises with the handles and the pleated design front variant. Inside, on the other hand, the softly contoured gradation between the shelf surface and the oval rounding of the bowl is an elegant eye-catcher. The transitions between surfaces and curves, between edge guidance and front appear so natural and flowing that the new burgbad collection truly deserves its name ‘Fiumo’: it is derived from the Italian ‘Fiume’ (river, stream).

Not quite wrinkle-free: cheeky pleated fronts for a youthful feel

Fiumo is available in five different silk matt finishes: matt white, matt ice blue, soft matt graphite and in the oak cashmere and Tektona cinnamon decors. The fronts can be selected in a single colour or combined in two colours. The Fiumo bathroom is given a particularly exclusive touch with the innovative pleated front, which can be used on both the tall units and the top drawer of the washbasin unit to add a touch of colour and discreet decoration. The 3D front features horizontal ribbing, giving it the appearance of being ironed into folds. This structure also serves as a fastening grid for a metal rail, which is used as a holder for towels and various storage containers. This means that all pleated fronts on mirrors, pull-outs, wall panels and cabinets can be flexibly equipped with additional functions as required.
