Pellet boiler with integrated electrostatic Filter

The new generation of the proven pellet boiler – the pelletstar-HE 10-30 kW – impresses with efficient combustion technology and a new design, inspired by the pellet boiler with condensing technology.
The fully automatic system stands out due to its modular design, allowing for easy installation and assembly. The compact dimensions, energy-efficient operation, and high efficiency are key features of the boiler.

Customizable Versions

The modular boiler can be customized – just like the HERZ condensing series – in three versions (for for screw discharge, suction discharge, or manual filling). Additionally, depending on the requirements, a version with or without an integrated electrostatic filter can be chosen. The automatic cleaning of the heat exchanger, combustion chamber, and integrated electrostatic filter ensures comfortable and convenient heating.

The pelletstar-HE is easy and reliable to install in any space, whether for new installations or modernisation. Heating with pellets is also environmentally friendly due to the CO2-neutral combustion process.

Pellet boiler with condensing technology

The HERZ pellet boiler with condensing technology is selling very well due to its innovative technology. The combustion technology at the highest level and the high-quality system components result in an increase in efficiency of the pellet systems as well as very low emission values - according to the motto "increase efficiency, reduce emissions". The water vapor contained in the exhaust gas is cooled down to such an extent that liquid condensate is formed. During this cooling process (liquefaction), heat is released and used for heating purposes, resulting in efficiencies of up to 106%.

The extremely compact plant is the ideal solution for new buildings as well as for modernisation.

Heat can be distributed via a low-temperature system (underfloor heating) or a high-temperature system (radiators). Depending on the requirements, the pelletstar CONDENSATION provides the right temperature, even without a buffer tank. Thanks to the modular design, it is now even easier to install the condensing boilers.

As with all HERZ biomass systems, the lambda probe installed as standard also ensures perfect combustion values for the condensing boiler, even with different fuel qualities.

An indestructible heart made of stainless steel: The entire boiler body as well as the combustion chamber and the heat exchanger are made of stainless steel. The combustion chamber as well as the heat exchangers are cleaned automatically, which means that no manual work is required. In addition, cleaned heat exchanger surfaces ensure consistently high efficiency.

Furthermore, the pelletstar CONDENSATION is available with the usual variety of pellet discharge systems. From discharge by means of a flexible screw to suction systems or the integrated hopper for manual filling: HERZ offers the optimum solution for every space and room situation.

EASY HANDLING - System in modular design

Due to the modular design with combustion chamber and heat exchanger module, installation and assembly can be carried out quickly and easily, even without a crane. Even in already existing boiler rooms with limited space, the system offers an optimal solution due to its low and compact design.

COMFORTABLE - Automatic combustion & heat exchanger cleaning and automatic ash removal

The combustion chamber and the heat exchanger are automatically cleaned and thus kept clean, which guarantees very long maintenance intervals. The highest level of comfort is provided by automatic deashing.

SIMPLE & SOPHISTICATED - Multifunctional control concept

A multifunctional control concept has been developed with the user-friendly colour-touchdisplay control. With the "heart" of the boiler, many processes and parameters can be optimally matched.

The in-house developed step grate technology, the compact combustion chamber geometry and the standard built-in lambda probe, which controls the air supply as well as the amount of material, result in fl exible application options for fuels and lowest emission values.

HERZ pelletfire 20-40 kW

HERZ pelletfire - Heating with log wood and pellets

The HERZ pelletfire is available in three sizes from 20 to 40 kW and is a perfectly coordinated combination of a log wood boiler and a pellet boiler. For those who want to enjoy full independence, heating can be done either traditionally with log wood or fully automatically with pellets, depending on the need. Thanks to separate combustion chambers, it is easy to switch between log wood and pellet operation. If there is still heat demand from the buffer tank or heating circuits after the log wood has burned, the heating operation is automatically continued with pellets. For even more convenience, the automatic ignition function is available, which can automatically ignite not only pellets but also log wood, depending on requirements.

Due to the built-in lambda probe perfect combustion values and the lowest emission values
are always achieved.. The heat exchanger surfaces are automatically cleaned and maintained by the integrated turbulators, even during heating operation. This ensures consistently high efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.

Combined boiler with integrated suction hopper for even more convenience

To continue meeting customer needs, HERZ has expanded the combined boiler with a version featuring an integrated suction hopper. With the integrated suction hopper (75-liter capacity), approximately 49 kg of pellets are stored temporarily in the boiler. This means that only 1-3 pellet deliveries from the storage room to the boiler are needed per day. The suction times can be freely selected, allowing the boiler to be automatically fed with pellets via the integrated suction hopper.
