essential design element in this area. Either in the form of towel radiators or residential radiators artfully separated as a room partition – fantasy has almost no limits.
With COLOMBO air vent IMT has found the perfect solution for the modern house, as the air vent is both reliable and attractive. COLOMBO design air vents are harmoniously integrated into the
surroundings with their high-quality chromium surface or white finishing (RAL 9016). They perform their function of continuous venting of the heating system elegantly and unobtrusively.
Air vents for radiators have to solve a variety of problems. What’s important to most people is not just functionality, but the design. What’s important to the heating specialist is ease of installation and functionality over a long service life. That’s why COLOMBO air vents are made of high-quality forged brass, engineered for vertical or horizontal installation, and are standardly equipped
with ’’O’’ rings or self-sealing threads. You can also easily close the automatic air vents with the screw on the upper part, when you’re filling the heating system. The entire design is so robust that even if the structural pressure of 12 bars is exceeded significantly for a longer period of time, it isn’t
damaged.

The IMT under boiler magnetic filter eliminates the impurities contained in the system thanks to the integrated filter inside. The strong neodymium magnet collects and traps all ferrous impurities.
The combination of a ball valve and a check valve allows a quick and easy cleaning and maintenance of the system without disconnecting the boiler.

IMT offers a complete programme of compact and economically interesting backflow preventers. Among the available designs you may find for instance an extraction valve, in other words a bibcock with an integrated backflow preventer type BA (see Fig. 300). This product can be used in the garden to connect an irrigation unit.
Also the item Fig. 302 is very interesting; it can be installed on an already existing bibcock.
With the backflow preventers Fig. 307 all existing water columns can be completed according to the European standard at reasonable costs (see DVGW worksheet W408).
Also the new item Fig. 309V belongs to this group: compact as the others and very simple to install, it is equipped with the drain and can be used everywhere it’s necessary to have a connection with a drainage tubing.
The filling assembly Fig. 305K offers in one product all you need to fill and re-fill the heating system according to the standard: backflow preventer type BA, shutoff valve, pressure reducing valve,
filling unit, pressure gauge and drainage.
The heating filling unit Fig. 321 has been recently added to the IMT backflow preventer programme. It combines the filling assembly unit Fig. 305K with the water demineralization
one Fig. 321.K and water meter. With the assembly Fig. 305K you avoid a water backflow in the potable water system and at the same time you treat water according to VDI 2035.

Thanks to a mixture of selected ion exchange resins and a pH stabilizer the water is demineralized and alkalized to pH values between 8,2 and 8,7. Also the hardness is reduced to <1° dH and water conductivity to < 100 μS/cm. Water softening, demineralization, pH-stabilisation, reduction
of water conductivity: all in one single device!

IMT MULTILOGO
The Valve Marking System professional contractors use for ball valves where valve and system identification is requested.

The MULTILOGO handle allows the installer to mark the valve after it is installed.
The installer can choose among 5 standard colours of handle inserts to identify different piping systems.

The installer can use the marking pen to mark or even customize the handle inserts.
The inserts can be pre-marked in the shop to save time in the field or can be customized with company trademarks.
The possibilities are endless. IMT also offers a variety of pre-marked inserts.
