Kotar insulation foils protect EPS boards against moisture from the screed and support the EPS boards to properly anchor the clips fitting floor heating pipes. To achieve best possible results use the foil together with Kotar EPS boards and Kotar pipe fixing clips.

Kotar’s polypropylene fabric protects styrofoam boards against ingress and provides them with support in proper anchoring of the floor heating pipe fixing clamps. Available in polypropylene metalised fabric.

The best effects can be achieved by using the fabric with Kotar’s styrofoam boards and pipe fixing clamps.

KR system boards are made of EPS and have studs which closely bed heating pipes so that no extra fitting systems are necessary. KR system boards made by Kotar are overlap-joined which eliminates the problem of ‘cold bridges’. Insulation is tighter and thus more effective. Additionally the lock joint facilitates installation. KR/N boards are joined in another manner, with overlay of PS foil.

Izorol insulation boards are made of EPS covered on one side with polypropylene fabrics or a laminate of PE foil and metal coated PP foil. They come in a number of options, depending on the EPS used, packing system or coating.

A version with an adhesive stripe on one side facilitating joining the boards is also available. All boards have the necessary Polish and European certificates, but they are also CE-certified to comply with EN 13172. They are also certified to be sold and used in Germany.
