Pintossi+C thermostatic mixing valve is designed for use in domestic water as well as heating systems.

The main function is to maintain constant, to a set value, the mixed water temperature, regardless of any variation of temperature and pressure of hot and cold water supply.

The thermostatic mixing valve is equipped with a temperature-sensitive element that detecte the temperature of the mixed water. This sensor is directly in contact with the fluid, allowing an high precise measurement of the mixed water and grating and high speed response in case of temperature and pressure changes in the inlet hot and cold water.

An anti-burn function is provided by the valve, stopping the hot mixed water delivery in case of unexpeted interruption of the inlet cold water supply, avoiding potentials burns. Thanks to this and anti-burining function the valve is particular indicated in public buildings like schools and hospitals for the presence of individuals at risk.

Thanks to the water high temperature allowed, the valve is particularly suitable to be used in solar applications or in systems where the inlet hot water temperature can reach very high values.

The valve can be installed in single or multi-fixture point of use like washbasin, shower, etc. as well as in hydronics applications.

The valve is suitable to be used with drinking water and made in accordance with Italian D.M. 174/2004 and are ACS (Attestation conformite sanitaire) approved.

Pintossi+C Thermostatic radiator valves with manual control are equipped with a thermostatic screw and a wheelhandle for opening and closing the valve for the correct control and removal of the radiator from the heating system.

Designed and built for low thermal inertia functioning. They are available in angle or straight version for the connection with iron pipe, copper pipe, PEX or multilayer pipes.

These valves can be used for the manual control of the fluid, thanks to the precise wheelhandle assembled, but can be converted in thermostatic valves with the easy substitution of the handle with a thermostatic or electrothermal head.

The sealing between the valve and the radiator is guaranteed by PTM system (Pintossi soft sealing), which allow a quick and safe installation, without the use of additional sealing materials, like hemp of PTFE ribbon.

The specific characteristics of the stainless steel AISI 304 and in particular is extreme strenght, allows to use thinner surface compared to brass, granting a greater lightness. Besides stainless steel bar, unlike brass bar, does not have internal tensions, which may lead to breaks or cracks and then to water leakages, in particular if the brass bar is not heat treated.

The specific design of Pintossi+C manifolds grant, compared to standard brass bar or plastic manifolds, higher flow rates, getting up to 5 m³/h (1” manifolds).
