With the growing trend towards renewable energy, air source heat pumps are becoming increasingly popular. With their increased use, the efficient handling of noise and sound development is becoming the focus of public attention. To counteract this problem, Skoberne and Cox Geelen have developed a cladding for outdoor heat pump units that has a sound-insulating effect and reduces noise by at least 5 dB.

In addition, the original and flexible design of the DecoMute means that the outdoor heat pump units are not only aesthetically pleasing and meet the homeowner's individual design requirements, but also improve the overall cityscape.

SKOBIFIX 30

SKOBIFIX® is a "condensing chimney" made from our special SKOBIFIX® geopolymer foam.

This one-meter long ductwork block incorporates a tongue-and-groove system which guarantees simple, quick installation.

Each system unit comprises a central plastic flue gas pipe supported in the cast duct within a fire proof, lightweight ceramic block, which has been specially developed for heating systems and for HVAC installers. This system is in stock at well-known HVAC wholesalers across Germany.

SKOBIFIX® 30 is single flue ductwork system incorporating the flue gas pipe. The block material is a geopolymer foam which is patent-protected and trade mark registered.

SKOBIFIXnano 30®

SKOBIFIXnano® 30 is Skoberne’s latest and smallest “condensing chimney system”, with exterior dimensions of only 130 x 160 mm. Thanks to its small cross-section, SKOBIFIXnano® fits easily into any wall or false wall.

• Flue gas pipe with 30-minute fire rating
• Gas exhausted by means of a flame-retardant PPs D60 pipe (pressure-tight and acid-resistant)
• Fire protection thanks to geopolymer foam ductwork mantle
• Combustion air intake via annular gap between flue gas pipe and geopolymer foam block’s cast in duct
• Easy installation thanks to tongue-and-groove system

It combines the tried-and-tested SKOBERNE plastic flue pipe with an external concentric pipe made from stainless steel. With its attractive all-over steel finish extending fully to the terminal and its compact design and construction, this will surely meet the design requirements of even the most fastidious of architects and building owners.

The introduction of new design components and the silky smooth steel surfaces, creates an overall system which of course still exhibits all of the quality characteristics you have come to expect of us. Those of you familiar with our products will not be surprised to learn that it is easily and quickly installed as both, inner and outer concentric joints are made simultaneously.
As yet, we only offer the standard size 80/125, but later this year, we will also make available sizes 60/100 and 110/160.

Die Elemente des Skoberne Systems zur Mehrfachbelegung in der Nennweite D110 sind insbesondere für enge Schächte konzipiert. Raumintensive Öffnungen des Schachts entfallen aufgrund der durchdachten Fixierungsmöglichkeit mit Halteschienen. Diese können von der Vorderseite durch eine Kernbohrung in Normgröße in den Schacht geführt werden. Seit Neuestem vervollständigt das Funktionselement zur Kondensatrückführung das MFB-System. Damit bietet Skoberne ganzheitliche Lösungen für starre und flexible Installationen für die Nennweite D110. Die Abgänge der Etagenanschlüsse und Kondensatrückführungen sind durch des Bajonettverschlussprinzips einfach, sicher und schnell zu montieren.
