Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flowmeter deltawaveC-F

The clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter deltawaveC-F is the permanently installed twin of the portable clamp-on flowmeter deltawaveC-P. The new, universally applicable clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter for liquid media in filled pipes works according to the highly accurate ultrasonic time-of-flight method. Special advantage: The ultrasonic transducers are strapped onto the pipe from the outside (clamp-on or buckle-on technology), it is not necessary to cut the pipe, there are no pressure losses. Another advantage of clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement: because the transducers are not in contact with the medium, the measurement is 100% contamination-free and thus 100% hygienic. This is particularly interesting for quantity measurements of food and pharmaceutical products. And if you have to measure particularly toxic or environmentally harmful liquids: There are no additional sealing surfaces or dead volumes when measuring flow with deltawaveC.

High measuring precision
With the deltawaveC-F, the drinking water flow is measured according to the ultrasonic time-of-flight method via clamp-on transducers. This enables precise and very dynamic flow measurement, especially as the measurement process takes place many times - usually 50 to 150 times - per second. Thus, in combination with the extremely accurate signal evaluation, measurement results can be determined very reliably and practically drift-free even in fast-flowing liquids. In doing so, the calmp-on ultrasonic flow meter deltawaveC-F meets or exceeds even the highest requirements for precise flow measurement.

Absolutely hygienic - Strict hygiene standards apply to drinking water measurement - and rightly so, because there must be no contamination here. The clamp-on flowmeter deltawaveC fix is the ideal tool here because it masters non-contact flow measurement. Here, the measuring sensors do not come into contact with the drinking water at any time. This eliminates the risk of contamination from the outset. This makes drinking water measurement with the deltawaveC fix 100 percent hygienic.

Quick and easy to install and set up

Parameterisation in a very short time

Precise and simple are not contradictory with deltawaveC-F. deltawaveC-F is very easy to handle. The user interface of the large graphical display is easy to master even without training. Installation and parameterisation of the deltawaveC-Fix only take a few minutes. It is not necessary to cut the pipeline; it is sufficient to strap the ultrasonic transducers onto the respective pipeline from the outside (clamp-on). A Quickfix mounting set is included in the scope of delivery for smooth installation. With the help of the Quick-Setup option, all necessary parameters can be set in a few minutes.

Differential pressure flow meter deltaflowC

The deltaflowC from systec Controls is a revolutionary gas flow meter that operates on the advanced differential pressure (dp) principle for measuring gas massflow. This device stands out as possibly one of the smallest and fastest multivariable transmitters for real-time, precise differential pressure flow metering of gas massflow. This gas flow meter masterfully integrates highly sensitive sensors for differential pressure, static pressure, and temperature, along with a powerful processor, all compactly assembled on a minimal surface area.

The deltaflowC measures gas massflow, performing up to 2,000 measurements per second, and is capable of processing and filtering the physical variables dp, pabs, and T ultra-fast. This provides users with accurate gas massflow signals and concurrent pressure and temperature readings, making the differential pressure flow meter deltaflowC not only suitable for measuring stationary flows but also for managing high measurement dynamics and pulsations found e.g. in compressors or combustion engines.

3 in 1: Differential Pressure Flow Meter, Gas Massflow and Volume Measurement, as well as Pressure and Temperature Measurement in One Device

The differential pressure flow meter deltaflowC offers a comprehensive solution, providing gas massflow measurements in a single device while also monitoring process temperature and pressure. As a gas flow meter, it is specially designed for the measurement and control of ventilation systems and other gases in pipes and ducts. The deltaflowC is the ideal solution for differential pressure flow metering, including applications as a compressed air meter and gas massflow meter.

Details of the differential pressure flow meter

It is available in two models: an insertion probe for pipes starting from 28mm inside diameter (1in) and a screw-in venturi for smaller pipes with diameters ranging from 3/4 to 1.5 inches. Installation is straightforward, with the probe version requiring just a connection piece on the pipe, and the venturi version easily screwed into a pipe section.

Gas flow meter deltaflowC has analog outputs (4..20mA and 0..10VDC), a pulse output, CAN-bus and Modbus RTU. It fits perfectly into all electrical environments. The analog outputs can not only be used to transmit the gas massflow, but also for differential pressure (dp), temperature or pressure (pabs) signals. Using a digital bus, it includes all measured and calculated physical

The deltaflowC offers multiple advantages, also in comparison to a thermal mass flow meter. It compensates for the effects of pressure and temperature on flow measurement, offering users a compensated gas massflow. Unlike a thermal mass flow meter and other gas massflow meters, the deltaflowC is remarkably less sensitive to surface fouling by e.g. oil films, condensates and particles... The deltaflowC gas flow meter is virtually maintenance-free, low on drift and suitable for a wide range of flow rates, temperatures, pressures and gases, including compressed air. Furthermore, the deltaflowC gas flow meter fits almost all pipelines and ducts with just one installation length, making it quickly available and easy to stock. In contrast to a thermal mass flow meter, the deltaflowC gas flow meter can be easily adapted to various gases without the need for recalibration. The gas massflow meter can simply be recalculated to any gas using the physical principles described in the ISO 5167.
