Since 1983, the DUNGS multi-functional gas control MultiBloc® has been built and developed in different versions. Now the 5th generation is available. The brand name MultiBloc® has meanwhile become the generic term for the entire device category. The 5th Generation MultiBloc® offers trend-setting device features. The MultiBloc E consists of a double safety shut-off valve (ValveBody) and two independent valve actuators (ValveDrive). Every ValveDrive contains the safety shut-off function. In addition, an integrated pressure control function is available. All ValveDrives can be mounted on all sizes of the valve series. Instead of a classic solenoid valve, an electronically controlled stepper motor is used for the valve and pressure control function. An integrated universal power supply allows operation with 100 ... 240 VAC. For the first time, the new MultiBloc® E can be used independently of the mains voltage. This means logistics advantages, reduced storage and energy efficiency with a power consumption of approx. 10 W. The precise, temperature-independent pressure control with electronic pressure sensor is carried out directly via the associated valve drive, without nozzles or a vibrating spring-diaphragm system. A flexible, electrical connection of pressure sensor and actuator replaces the classic piping for the pressure pulse. The device can be operated down to -20 ° C. The MultiBloc® MBE is available in sizes from Rp / NPT 2 to DN 150 / NPS 6. Japanese JIS flanges are provided and available as needed. The requirements of the North American market are also met, for example with connections for vent lines and closed position switches. Approvals are requested in all major gas-consuming countries. Thus, a multiple actuator is available that can be used worldwide.
