On 18 March 2027, ISH will place a special focus on the hotel industry with a dedicated Hospitality Day. Together with members of the Hotel Real Estate Working Group, a curated half-day specialist conference is planned at Messe Frankfurt’s Congress Center. The event will focus on how a high-quality guest experience, sustainability, energy efficiency and cost-effective operations can be brought together. Presentations and expert insights will address current developments in the hotel industry and highlight practical solutions.

This will be followed by a guided tour of selected exhibitors at the trade fair. The format brings together strategic topics from hotel development, architecture, planning, investment and operations with practical technical solutions.

Indoor Air Forum

Building services expertise brought together at ISH 2027
The demands placed on buildings are constantly increasing. Energy efficiency, climate protection, healthy indoor air, digitalisation and security of supply are now among the key challenges facing the building services sector. At ISH 2027, the associations representing technical building services will bring together their expertise and invite you to exchange ideas at their joint stand. Through the Indoor Air Forum, the German Association of Air-Conditioning and Ventilation in Buildings (FGK), the German Manufacturers’ Association for Air Handling Units (RLT), the German Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors (VDKF) and the VDMA Air Handling Technology Association provide a central platform for knowledge sharing, innovation and networking.

Key topics include:

  • Indoor air quality and thermal comfort
  • Fire safety and smoke extraction
  • Legislation, regulations and standards
  • Refrigerants and PFAS
  • Building services engineering in data centres

Dialogue with experts and daily networking

Throughout the trade show, representatives of the professional associations will be available for personal discussions. Take the opportunity to learn more about current policy developments, technical solutions and the future of building services engineering, while making valuable contacts across the industry. A get-together will be held at 4.00 pm each day from Monday to Thursday. The relaxed setting provides an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives from industry, planning, the skilled trades, academia and politics.
