LUNOS presents the new 5/WM WLAN module at ISH 2025

Berlin, March 2025 – LUNOS Lüftungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG is presenting its latest product innovation at the ISH 2025 international exhibition in Frankfurt am Main: the 5/WM WLAN module. With this further development of the tried-and-tested Silvento ec ServiceKit, LUNOS is setting new standards in terms of user-friendliness, flexibility and smart control of ventilation systems.

Maximum flexibility due to wireless control

The new 5/WM WLAN module enables the Silvento EC exhaust fans to be conveniently controlled remotely - at any time and from anywhere in the house. With a range of up to 100 metres in open areas, it offers significantly more freedom than conventional control methods and ensures optimum air quality in the living space. Due to real-time data monitoring, users always receive up-to-date information on the operating time, switching cycles and motor running times of their system.

Intuitive installation and easy operation

Installing the module is particularly straightforward: It is plugged directly into the control board of the Silvento-EC - without any additional cabling or complicated configurations. The connection is made via a user-friendly interface using a QR code or manual input, so no additional app is required. This means the system is quickly ready for use and can be used immediately on any device (mobile phone with iOS or Android, Windows, Linux, all tablets, PCs or laptops).

WLAN vs. NFC: The better choice for smart ventilation

With the 5/WM, LUNOS relies on proven WLAN technology instead of NFC to provide users with powerful and convenient control. Compared to NFC, the WLAN module offers a much greater range, continuous real-time data transmission and easy integration into existing systems. This means that no app or other installations are required - all data is obtained from the module via WLAN (without the internet).

Price and availability

The 5/WM WLAN module is now available at a price of 100.50 euros (RRP). Visitors to ISH 2025 will have the opportunity to experience the new module live at the LUNOS stand and see the benefits of the smart control system for themselves.
