Butyl O2B
The BUTYL 02B Flexible Stainless Steel Braided hoses are constructed from a Butyl core with a Stainless Steel braided cover and Brass fittings.
They are extensively used for the distribution of water in both Cooling and Heating applications such as Chilled Beams, Fan Coils unit, Heating systems and Pumps.
Oxygen diffusion into the pipe system increases the potential risk of corrosion and can lead to premature deterioration of ferrous metal components and wide spread system failures.
BUTYL O2B combines the ease of assembly and the highest flexibility with the oxygen diffusion resistance of a butyl in liner, tested to DIN4726.
Secure and realiable connection between a geothermal heat pump and a flow center or any other piping connection.
Oxygen Diffusion Proof
DIN 4726 TESTED
Oxygen diffusion tight. No risk of corrosion. No risk of formation of biofilm on the inner walls of the water circuit.
· According to DIN 4726, oxygen diffusion test results after thermal cycling should not exceed 0.32 mg/m2d at 40ºC. A pipe with no oxygen diffusion barrier has an oxygen permeability of more than 2g/m3.
Stress Corrosion
· For brine circuits, the use of DZR brass alloy fittings is compulsory to prevent stress corrosion
Mechanical Performance
BUTYL O2B hoses endure the original equipment mechanical life cycle and operate in a wide range of temperature and pressure environment
Installation Benefits
