GREENCABLE® HEAVY SYSTEM
The GREENCABLE HEAVY bracket system
was specifically developed for green facade
that must meet the high structural demands
of modern ETICS facades.
Due to the long cantilever, movements on
the outer facade surface must be reduced to
zero. The type-specific structural analysis
ensures this and simultaneously determines
the minimum number of intermediate
brackets to generate as few thermal bridges
as possible.
The systems can accommodate plant
growth heights of up to 20 meters. For
optimal bridging of the ETICS facade, there
are three standardized wall distances of
291, 365, and 425 mm.

System consists of:

2x stainless steel end brackets (optional with intermediate brackets),
2x thermal plates (5mm),
1x 8mm diameter cable with tensioning system (optional with climbing rungs),
8x fasteners for steel and reinforced concrete, including approvals and system
structural analysis for steel and reinforced concrete.
Depending on the plant requirements, the vertical systems can be connected at a
maximum distance of 70 cm from each other, also using horizontal bars and cross
clamps. This allows not only climbing plants but also so-called tendril climbers to
be attached to facades. Based on the desired growth height, wind zone, or plant
load class, the systems can be expanded with intermediate brackets. Using the
plant list in conjunction with the wind zones, the necessary materials can be accurately
determined from the structural matrix and inserted into the plan with just a
few clicks.

GREENCABLE SAFETY – the securing stainless steel cable mesh

In this context, X-TEND mesh can simultaneously be used as fall protection, for example on the facades of multi-storey car parks, office and residential buildings. In this way, the advantages of facade greening can be ideally combined with safety and design.

All building structures with X-TEND are characterised by a large load-bearing capacity and span width with low weight. High-grade stainless steel guarantees durability and the freedom from maintenance. The mesh systems have a cable Ø of 2 – 3 mm and the mesh sizes usually vary from 80 – 300 mm.

The mesh areas can be designed in any size and can also be adapted three-dimensionally to the geometric conditions on site.

Thanks to the uncomplicated assembly
and the great flexibility in design, the
GREENCABLE®- LIGHT system is extremely
versatile and can be individually
expanded. It guarantees durability and
a stylish appearance even during the
growth phase of the climbing plants. The
special A4 stainless steel cables can be
guided horizontally, vertically or crosswise
through the bases, creating green
patterns on the facades. Without the use
of special tools, this trellis for climbing
plants combines technology and simplicity
and enables facade greening exactly
as you want it.

A highly flexible wire rope made of rust
and acid-resistant stainless steel serves
as a climbing aid. The surface of the aluminum
components is colorless anodized
and shimmers in matt silver. The system
can also be retrofitted with climbing
rungs. Thanks to the metric thread on
the base foot, the system can be combined
with all common types of fastening.
