Description

The HygroMatik pressure steam system SIH (Steam Injection Humidifier) is connected to an existing source of steam, and makes the steam condensate-free, so that it can be used in clean rooms and hospitals, for example.

The HygroMatik SIH is the only system that offers four components in one compact unit: High performance steam separator, strainer, condensate drain and start-up safety switch - optionally all in stainless steel VA. Compact, light, energy-efficient.

The SIH can be put together to suit the individual application. The standard flanged connections, compact dimensions and the low intrinsic weight mean it is easy to install - even in challenging installation conditions.

Replaceable strainer.

The high-quality stainless steel strainer protects the control valve and the steam trap from contamination from the steam network. The inner, fine-mesh strainer can be cleaned or easily replaced if necessary.

High-performance steam dryer.

The stainless steel steam dryer separates condensate from steam using a spiral piping system and is 100 % maintenance free.

Reliable start-up protection.

The start-up protection activates humidification only after a certain operating temperature has been reached. This effectively prevents condensate from the steam network from entering the air-conditioning duct.

Powerful steam trap.

The robust, tight-closing ball float steam trap drains off the condensate. Due to the fast reacting principle and the high capacity, even larger quantities of condensate can be safely discharged, e.g. during system start-up. The closed system prevents steam losses.

Optimally adjusted.

The bus-compatible actuator ensures optimum automatic control by means of direct connection without an adapter. The special HygroMatik control valve regulates the steam quantity with an equal percentage characteristic curve. This means particularly precise control in the lower control range and a fast adaptation to high humidity requirements in the upper control range.

Stainless steel steam lances.

Steam lances from stainless steel have a low net weight and are quickly fitted. The quiet steam outlet nozzles take the steam centrally from the driest area of the steam lance. The alignment of the nozzles against the air flow ensures quick distribution and a short humidification distance.

The internal, self-contained steam lance heating system is located at the lowest point of the steam lance. This allows any condensate to be evaporated again immediately. The light-weight and easy to maintain thermal steam trap drains condensate from the heating system.

With the FlexLine, HygroMatik provides a modern generation of steam humidifiers which consists of a basic model that can be expanded to create an individual humidification solution suitable for all requirements. In order to make this flexibility available to our customers quickly, we have developed a modular system. This was awarded in three categories and FlexLine received the Plus X Award.

The FlexLine basic model is the basis for all other configuration options. Through its individual extension capability, FlexLine is able to adapt to the requirements of differing areas of application:

  • Optimisation of the indoor climate in industrial, commercial, cultural and leisure facilities
  • Control and stabilisation of air humidity for industry and processes

Optimum humidifying using the best method. FlexLine is available as an electrode as well as a heater type humidifier – depending on your water quality and the required degree of control accuracy.

Equip HygroMatik FlexLine with the power you need for optimum humidification. Performance classes with steam output from 3 kg/h up to 130 kg/h are selectable in 6 housing sizes. In addition, individual performance adjustments can be programmed both at the factory and on site.

Manifold options for a humidification solution that fits perfectly. Every installation is different, and so every project places unique requirements on the humidification solution. The FlexLine can be equipped with a wide range of options to optimally meet your project requirements. In addition, various protection and security functions can be installed and activated, e.g.

This means that your system is optimally protected around the clock and you have less maintenance work. If needed, all options can be retrofitted. We are always pleased to provide advice.

Excellent ease of operation. All HygroMatik FlexLine units are equipped with a capacitive 3.5“ touch screen whereby operation and programming is selected via a flat and intuitive menu structure analogous to modern smartphone logic. In addition to this, subsequent software updates are quickly and easily possible via USB flash drive.

LPS and HPS adiabatic low and high pressure nozzle systems

LPS and HPS. High performance under low and high pressure.

The adiabatic low and high pressure nozzle systems LPS and HPS humidify the air in air conditioning and ventilation systems. They stand out with very high humidification performances with extremely low energy consumption, efficiency of up to 98 % and very high control precision.

Hygienic.

Only the fully demineralised water, without any additives, reaches the breathable air. The systems contain no porous, water storing components. Standing water is effectively avoided and if stationary, the systems are automatically emptied. Only inert (i.e. chemically reaction-neutral) materials come into contact with the humidifying water in the LPS and HPS. Consequently, chemical or biological disinfectants can be completely dispensed with. You also will not have to deal with the expensive disposal of contaminated hazardous wast. Hygiene conformity has been completely certified by TÜV North.

Certified.

The HygroMatik LPS and HPS conform to German standards VDI 6022-1 and 3808-1.

A recognised independent testing institute has investigated and confirmed the conformity with the directives and the recognised state of the art (VDE test report no. 802300-3980-0001/85569). HygroMatik LPS and HPS are fully certified with the hygiene conformity test certificate for air conditioning and hospital sectors as well as being CE certified.

Precise control.

The LPS is controlled via a clear Led display and the HPS via a capacitive 3.5" touch display. Both controls enable the most precise proportional humidification control with an accuracy of +/- 1%. The displays show all messages and operating data and have a comfortable menu-guided operation. Constant sensor monitoring of all system components and functions ensures maximum operating reliability.

Short absorption distances.

Very precise stainless steel high pressure nozzles produce a very fine mist, which is very quickly absorbed by the air in the unit chamber. In addition, the vortex wall, comprised of very advanced vortex modules, mixes the duct air with the atomised mist in the shortest possible absorption distance. Thanks to the fast and very efficient absorption there is almost no water loss - thus saving demineralised water. The optimum efficiency means the system can achieve short absorption distances of as low as 0.9 m. Moreover, due to its modular construction, the LPS and HPS is suitable for use in any air conditioning duct, saving costs during both planning and installation.

Adiabatic cooling effect.

The evaporation of the fine mist cools the air adiabatically. With forced draught cooling in summer, this can save up to 1/3 in the dimensioning of the cooling register. This saves cost at the investment and during operation.

Energy saving and evironmentally conscious.

Low-pressure atomisation at 5 to 15 bar and high-pressure atomisation at 25 to 75 bar offer high humidification performance with low energy requirements. Thanks to their high efficiency and precise controllability, the cleverly designed systems allow particularly efficient use of the fully demineralised water used and are extremely water-saving due to the minimal amount of water lost.
Humidification with fully demineralised water effectively prevents limescale precipitation and ensures particularly low maintenance requirements.

Due to the complete foregoing of chemical and biological disinfectants, there is no need for frequent cost-intensive checking and refilling of antiseptic agents. This process saves money and benefits the environment. The LPS and HPS ensure a quick payback and long service life through the use of high quality components.

FlexLine Plus and Process for precision and process humidification.

A stable and controlled room climate is indispensable for many production processes. Fluctuations in air humidity and especially excessively dry air have a massive influence on the raw materials used, on their processing capabilities and thus ultimately also on the quality of the end products.

HygroMatik FlexLine Plus and Process heater steam humidifiers have been developed especially for the use in precision and process humidification, in sensitive areas of industrial production as well as for the stabilisation of the relative air humidity in laboratories and research facilities.

As part of the FlexLine series, a new generation of steam humidifiers, the HygroMatik FlexLine Plus and Process units can be flexibly expanded from a basic model with appropriate options. Every humidifier can thus be optimally adapted to the individual requirements of a project.

The optimal humidification performance.

Equip the HygroMatik FlexLine Plus and Process with the power you need for optimum humidification performance. There are seven output classes from 5 to 50 kg/h steam output in one unit size to choose from. In addition, individual performance adjustments can be programmed both at the factory and on site. Higher humidification performance is achieved by connecting units together.

The respective basic model of the FlexLine is the basis for all other configuration options. Thanks to their individual equipment, HygroMatik FlexLine Plus and Process can be adjusted to the requirements of various industrial and process control applications and equipped with a wide range of options so that they optimally meet every project requirement (e.g. HyCool – integrated waste water cooling). These options can also be retrofitted as needed.

The robust stainless steel cylinders – high quality and hygienically clean.

In some application areas, such as hospitals or other medical areas, stainless steel cylinders are sometimes preferred. The stainless steel cylinders of HygroMatik FlexLine Plus and Process generate hygienic, mineral free steam and are designed accordingly for these applications.
