RETIFLEX
Description
RETIFLEX pipes are produced from high density polyethylene and are cross linked by SILAN method (PEX-b), according to European Normes EN 15875 and DIN 16892/16893 specifications, by using last generation raw materials, that are supplied by the largest international companies of their kind. They are certified not only for their mechanical resistance, but also for their suitability for use in drinkable water networks from international institutes SKZ, WRAS, MPA, CSA, NSF, and ITS.
They are produced in natural white or black color with UV stabilizers, and in other colors as well, according to the customer needs. They are available in various lengths of coils, with or without corrugated protective pipe of red, blue and black color. For underfloor heating and cooling applications, these pipes are also produced with oxygen barrier of 3 or 5 layers with trade name RETIFLEX-NOXY.The oxygen barrier is achieved by coating the pipe with a film of special material (EVOH), that either is externally bonded (3 layers) or in the middle of the thickness (5 layers). The oxygen barrier prevents the entrance of oxygen in the water circulation and corrosion of the metal parts of the system is avoided.
