ISH 2025: Top brands present their solutions for the future

28 Jan 2025

ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for HVAC + Water, opens its doors in Frankfurt am Main from 17 to 21 March 2025. Over 2,000 exhibitors from 55 countries have signed up to present future-oriented solutions for the complete range of applications in the HVAC and water sector – from modern bathroom design and sustainable heating and air-conditioning technology to the smart home. The numerous exhibitors include not only market leaders but also specialised companies that generate a host of innovative impulses.

Under the motto ‘Solutions for a sustainable future’, ISH 2025 will focus on climate protection and energy efficiency because, as the largest single source of CO₂ emissions, the building sector has a huge potential for achieving climate goals. At the heart of the trade fair are pioneering technologies and concepts for environmentally friendly and efficient heat generation, the conscious use of water and clean, hygienic air. Moreover, this innovative hub will be distinguished by a new, clear and modern event structure comprising eight solution fields, each tailored precisely to visitors' specific interests.

Eight solution fields for sustainable building-services technology

The new concept being introduced at ISH 2025 revolves around eight solution fields in which exhibitors present their innovative technologies and concepts, thus enabling visitors to find solutions that meet their specific requirements and areas of interest.

Bathroom solutions

Private bathrooms stand for comfort, functionality and modern design – whether at home or in the hotel industry. Leading manufacturers such as Bette, Burgbad, Duravit, Geberit, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Ideal Standard, Laufen, Kaldewei, Roca, Toto, Villeroy & Boch and Vitra will be presenting their solutions for the private bathroom in Halls 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0 and 5.1, as well as in the Forum. Solutions for the (semi-) public and industrial sectors, e.g., for offices, airports, shopping centres and schools, are the focus of attention in Hall 3.0. There, for example, the exhibitors include Benkiser, Delabie, KWC Professional, Les Robinets Presto, Schell and Stern. Also taking centre stage in Hall 3.0 will be sanitary-installation companies, with exhibitors such as Alcadrain, Dallmer, Geberit and Tece, as well as firms specialising in care-sector bathrooms, offering solutions for individual requirements in, for example, hospitals and nursing facilities. In Hall 3.1, companies from the field of SPAs, Pool & Wellness will be showcasing their innovative products and designs, from luxurious hotel spas to private wellness oases and public swimming-pool facilities.

Solutions for water-bearing systems

The ‘Water-bearing systems’ solution field combines innovative approaches to modern water management and energy-efficient heating technology. The companies taking part are preparing to show systems for hygienic drinking water supplies, intelligent water management and efficient water treatment. This spectrum is supplemented by modern drainage systems for buildings, and sustainable concepts for green roofs and facades with sophisticated irrigation and drainage solutions. Systems for non-potable water and rainwater utilisation, such as the collection, storage and distribution of rainwater, are also part of this category. In addition, exhibitors in this solution field will showcase efficient panel heating systems for the heating circuit, which permit rooms to be heated sustainably and comfortably. Visitors will find exhibitors covering these subjects, such as Aalberts integrated piping systems, BWT, GF Building Flow Solutions, Grünbeck, Judo, Rehau, Roth Werke, Valsir and Viega, in Halls 4.0, 4.2 and 6.0. Suppliers of solutions for green roofs and facades will be making their presentations for the first time in the special ‘Green Roofs & Facades’ area in the foyer of Halls 5.1 and 6.1. Specialists for heating circuits can be found in Halls 9.0 and 9.1 in the western section of the exhibition centre. Caleffi, Danfoss, Giacomini, Grundfos, KSB, Oventrop, Reflex Winkelmann, SFA and Wilo, are just some of the companies presenting their products there.

Installation solutions

Modern installation systems and technologies are essential for the sanitary and HVAC sector. In Hall 6.1, exhibitors such as Adolf Würth, Bott, Fischerwerke, Novopress, Rems, Rothenberger, Wöhler and WVG await visitors with a wide range of tools, fastening solutions and concepts for efficient operation, storage and transport. In addition, ‘Treffpunkt Handwerk’ the meeting place for artisans, offers practical tips to make their everyday work easier while the ISH Festival ensures a great atmosphere with an adventure trail and influencers on site.

Heat-generation solutions

ISH offers a wide range of solutions for sustainable heat generation. In Halls 12.0, 12.1 and 10.1, the focus is on electricity-based heating systems such as heat pumps combined with photovoltaic systems and home storage units. Bosch, Buderus, Daikin, Kermi, LG, Midea, Mitsubishi, Nibe, Samsung, Stiebel Eltron, Vaillant, Viessmann, Weishaupt and Wolf are among the exhibitors there. Biomass heating systems that combine sustainable wood heat with solar thermal energy and efficient gas flue systems can be seen in Hall 11.0 where the exhibitors include Atec, BHT Windhager, Fröling, Hargassner, Herz, Jeremias, ÖkoFEN, Schräder and Wodtke. Visitors will find gas and liquid-based heating systems utilising innovative energy sources such as e-fuels, biomethane and hydrogen in Halls 11.0, 12.0 and 12.1. The subject of local and district heating is covered in Hall 9.1. There, exhibitors will show solutions for the heating network infrastructure and for heat transfer into buildings.

Indoor-air solutions

Innovative ventilation and air-conditioning technology improves the air quality in (non-) residential buildings, data centres, educational and healthcare facilities, as well as in production and retail buildings. At this year’s ISH, exhibitors such as ebm-papst, Helios, Howatherm, Kampmann, Swegon, Systemair, Trox and Wolf will be showcasing innovative ventilation and air-conditioning systems and devices for improving indoor-air quality for greater well-being and comfort in Halls 8.0 and 10.1.

Intelligent building-management solutions

The focus in Hall 11.1 is on building automation, energy management, smart home & home energy management and maintenance. There, exhibitors such as ABB, EQ-3, Hosch, KNX, Loytec, Phoenix Contact, Sauter-Cumulus, Schneider, Siemens and Wago will be presenting devices and systems that use networking to ensure greater energy efficiency, comfort and safety within buildings.

Software solutions

Digital technologies and software solutions are crucial for planning and increasing efficiency in new and existing buildings. They are also essential for building management, office and business. Hall 8.0 is the focal point for such developments. The exhibitors there will include Hero, Hottgenroth, liNear, pds, OneCrew, Streit, ToolTime and Trimble.

Solutions for sanitary & HVAC production

A comprehensive range of high-quality components is required for sanitary and HVAC production. These components must meet the specific demands of sanitary, heating and air-conditioning technology. Thanks to the new ISH hall layout, component suppliers are now directly grouped together with the relevant solution field. The exhibitors taking part include Afriso, Belimo, Möhlenhoff, Neoperl, Flühs, Sermeta, Thermokon and Wieland-Werke.

Experience innovations, shape the future

With its unique range of products, customised solution fields and international reach, ISH 2025 is once again set to be the indispensable meeting place for the HVAC and water sector. There, the industry presents the trends and technologies that are currently paving the way towards a sustainable future – a must for everyone wanting to play an active role in shaping the future of building-services technology.
