Free Machining Rods

Free machining rods are produced in accordance with EN 12164 and are calibrated, have sensitive tolerances and high-speed workability which is suitable for machining and reduces the setup time. Free machining rods increase the high strength and efficiency of the finished product with their metallurgical characteristics by their zinc and lead content with processability and cold processing capabilities. Rods with optimal mechanical properties are capable of efficient chip making by balanced chemical composition and lead distribution.

DZR (Dezincification-resistant) Rods are recommended to be used in place of standard brasses that are in contact with water, such as fittings, valves in the installation systems and where the pH is below the required or high chlorinated water.

Low Lead Alloy Rods are rods that used for limiting the use of brass contact with water and avoiding damage for human health.
