By the 1980s, the “Chuan Fang” brand electric winches were recognized as the top brand in the Taiwanese hardware industry.

From the beginning, COMEUP adopted a dual branding strategy for domestic and international markets. Domestically, the brand is known as “Chuan Fang,” while internationally it is marketed as “COMEUP.” In the 1980s, the “Chuan Fang” electric winches became the leading brand in Taiwan’s hardware industry. To ensure legal sales and protect consumer rights both before and after purchase, COMEUP has registered trademarks in regions including China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, and the European Union.
In 2000, COMEUP entered the automotive winch market, marking the beginning of its prominence in the European winch industry. Notably, since 2007, COMEUP’s European distributor, Arctic Trucks, has equipped polar expedition vehicles with COMEUP winches, enabling self-rescue and assistance to others in extremely harsh environments. In 2010, COMEUP rebranded with a new visual identity and the slogan “Work Tough, Play Tough,” embodying the spirit of its products. COMEUP has become known for its high sales, superior quality, durability, and excellent performance in adverse conditions in the automotive winch market.
In 2012, COMEUP established a U.S. subsidiary to actively expand into the North American market under its own brand. With optimized local service channels, superior product quality, a high-value brand positioning, and a differentiated business model, COMEUP has become one of the top two high-end winch brands in the U.S. off-road market. Furthermore, it has become a winch supplier for General Motors (GM) and achieved the highest market share for truck-mounted cranes in the U.S. Today, COMEUP winches are sold in over 60 countries across five continents, providing consumers with the most reliable and high-performance winch products, and offering comprehensive winch solutions, earning global consumer recognition.
