Replenishing systems for heating water Serastil NKS

Description

Orben repleneshing systems for heating water.

Fully demineralised heating water protects the service life and efficiency of heating systems. The water treatment specialist ORBEN now offers a new complete range of stationary refill stations for the standard-compliant replenishment of heating water.

The ready-to-connect refill cartridge systems, available in various sizes with or without system separator, ensure optimum and standard-compliant treatment of the make-up water according to VDI 2035 (as well as ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1) for small and medium-sized systems.

Two series in different sizes

The "Serastil NKS ready" series combines an automatic filling valve with system separator type BA and a desalination cartridge as a complete treatment concept. The system separator, which is equipped with a thermal insulation shell, includes a wastewater connection in accordance with DIN EN 1717 and thus fulfils the separation of the two systems required in the case of short-term and permanent contact between the freshwater pipe and the service water installation (i.e. the drinking water network and the heating system). The refilling station is further completed by pressure reducers to prevent pressure surges in the heating system, a double manometer to display the inlet and outlet pressure as well as shut-off valves at the inlet and outlet of the filling combi (½"). The double manometer helps with troubleshooting if the heating system has not been filled properly - it can be particularly helpful with fluctuating inlet pressures.

With the second series "Serastil NKS", the system separator must be available on site. With both series, a water meter for recording the replenishment water quantity, a ½" shut-off ball valve for regulating the replenishment quantity and safe shut-off complete the filling system. The automatic refill and treatment fitting complies with all normative requirements for heating water. The complete refilling and treatment system is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar, at a maximum temperature of 45° C.

Colour change and germ barrier

Both series are available with one, two or four cartridges. The maximum filling capacity is 60, 120 and 240 l/h respectively, with a capacity at 420 μs /cm to < 100 μS/cm of 115, 230 and 460 l. They are thus ideally suited for detached houses and apartment buildings. The high-performance cartridges for supplementary water are filled with Orben high-performance mixed bed resin as a variant with colour change. The more the resin is exhausted, the more the colour changes from blue to brown. The resin in the transparent cartridge thus reliably gives a change indication.

A germ barrier protects the make-up water from possibly contaminated supply water and prevents recontamination into the drinking water network. An integrated protective strainer additionally protects the heating system against possible resin leakage.
